Sorry to hear the story about the fan who was treated like shit - just not my experience at all. My son, Paul Smith wrote to Paul Kelly when he was 9. We were sitting in the concert hall in Perth when security came, took us all backstage in the break and my son met Paul Kelly and the band and got to play guitar with Steve Conelly (sadly passed away now). When my Paul was 21 he wrote again and got to meet Paul Kelly the second time. On the wall at my son's house are photos of the two meetings.

Oh, I'm only repeating the sentiments of those who used to lived, worked and played at Kings Cross some 50 years ago... the cracks started to show around 40 years ago, when cumstains like yourself, somehow evolved into adults and began to manifest the discolour.

This is very funny - thanks for making me laugh. Has been a hard day at my harbour view office on the 27th floor making another million dollars in hedge funds. Yes you bet there is still lots to make even in the current economic climate. Think I might tuck into some beluga on ice with the french bubbly before slipping into my rooftop spa for relax, then read some SATRE before watching a little tv of the 100 channels that are available on my 2 metre lcd screen.

got a point there buddy, i also live in sydney but not in a extremely expensiv penthouse with a motoryacht in dry-dock, i suspect neither does skinfactors :P i live in gladesville a workin class suburb but i too am in love with melbourne for its culture, Sydney has nothing on it AT ALL. i am an AFL player and down in melbourne they live for Music and AFL, it's my dream to move down there because in my opinion melbourne is the most culture-filled city in australia, Sydney is simply bland...

mate i live in sydney too, on the water but up the parra river. The harbour has is still swimmable but you wouldnt see me in there its gettin dirty as fuck now, perfection doesnt appear in sydney's dictionary its so dirty and everyone in sydney is angry. in the city nobody is happy and theres gangs of cranky little lebanese or aboriginal teenagers looking for people to start fights with, melbourne has real culture with its music and sports scene. take into mind that i actualy LIVE in sydney

mate you'll have to come up to Nrth Qld sometime, we have a good 300 km of pristeen rainforests , waterfalls and some very seluded beachs(to catch the good fish)(and have a few quiet cones), but yer come up here, we don't much care for southerners :) but if ur friendly and up here for a good time then you will be steered toward the nearest bar-stool, beer in hand. :) take it easy.

i'd love to, i absolutely love fishing andi kno Nth QLD has som of the greatest fishin in the world, with the great barrier reef at ur doorstep. im thinking of coming up there within a year or so im desperate to get up there and have a fish :)i wanna go to cairns or even townsville, somewhere on the coast where a local can hook me up with some barra fishing and also some great reef fishin too, got know any good fishing friends? :)

I think he was the opening act for Leonard Cohen. Thus those that paid that amount in fact paid to see the magnificent LC - although the wonderful PK was a bonus. This album changed my life... in regional Australia in 1985 synth pop was omnipresenet, and then Post appeared on our only independent radio station. What a brilliantly understated work of art! Back then no-one had heard of you, but Kelly you're a legend!

Sorry to hear the story about the fan who was treated like shit - just not my experience at all. My son, Paul Smith wrote to Paul Kelly when he was 9. We were sitting in the concert hall in Perth when security came, took us all backstage in the break and my son met Paul Kelly and the band and got to play guitar with Steve Conelly (sadly passed away now). When my Paul was 21 he wrote again and got to meet Paul Kelly the second time. On the wall at my son's house are photos of the two meetings.
