The actually took time to explain EVERYTHING: Who won the tournament, why are people there, and the whole "Aliens needs to harvest bodies" plot was pretty damn cool. I only wish we would have goten a MI3, so I could see what Judeim would look like.

yo es k siempre he sido de Street Fighter II (no me mates) xD. Ya había jugado al primer KOF de pequeño en recreativas, y me gustó y como estoy recopilando juegos de ps2 en cuanto me entere k los hicieron en 3 d me compre el MI 2 el ultimo...

There IS a Maximum Impact game coming out for the 360, and it's probably the 3rd one in the series. Although, I'm not sure as one is coming out for the 360 called KoF: Maximum Impact 360, and one is coming out for the PS3 called Maximum Impact 3. It could be just a mistake in titles, but no release date has been announced. KoF XII, which will be in sprite form not 3D, is coming out for the arcade, but I'm not sure if it'll be ported to any of the new consoles or not.

Well, for some of them, its a little obvious. Like Kyo and K'; talking probably about clone stuff. Billy Kane and Iori: Iori probably calling him a fool and Billy Kane being all angry about being betrayed back in KoF '95. I mean, the game has been out for a while, so everyone who's wanted to play it by now probably rented or bought it.

Besides, I always figured this character demo was about showing the various characters' fighting moves, combos, costumes, etc. Not necessarily what they say.

Compared to other KoF games, this one is very easy. It also picked up Tekken and Virtua Fighter's single button combos, which aren't normally seen in KoF games, but this makes it so anyone can pick up the game, play it, but not necessarily master it so easily, and still get enjoyment from it. The BEST 3D fighting game? Doubtful, but its a pretty good game. If you're a KoF fan, you'll love it, but people who don't enjoy fighting games will probably be turned off by this one.

Out of all the KoF games though, this has the most boring boss, in my opinion. While he's unique, in his fighting style, he's sort of boring since, unlike previous KoF bosses, he's merely a subordinate and even states to be so, so it doesn't feel like you make any difference by beating him in the story. He is also very easy, even in the hardest mode. Overall though, you should play it and give it your own opinion. Lol. Hope I helped.

Well, Ash Crimson, while not being a very good villain, is, nonetheless, rather interesting. Unlike previous villains, Ash's plans are obscure and rather new; he's after the 3 treasures of the 3 clans who defeated Orochi. Unlike those who wanted to resurrect Orochi or make an army of Kyo clones. I mean, the guy now has Chizuru AND Iori's powers. Then we have these Orochi freaks like Magaki and Mukai who are pretty mysterious too. I only hope we get a KoF XII to come to a conclusion soon, lol.

Well, if you ask me, I'd rahter havea villain who WASN'T another bloody fire user. We had Iori and KYo, then we had Shingo and then K' and the fricking Kyo clones! Also, Ash doesn't eve LOOK the least bit threatening. The thing that made Rugal awesome was tat he actually LOOKED like he could kill you stone dead. But Ass is just a stereotypicaal pretty boy.

True, another fire user was a slight cop out, but, hell, unlike the other villains, we didn't know Ash was a villain until the end of the game, lol. The fact that his neither Red or Purple distances him from both Kyo and Iori's clans meaning he might be of some other descent. Rugal WAS awesome though, and, while slightly annoyed that his son was a bit girly, it was apparent that he WAS his son, ergo, he has some potential. Ash may yet prove to be rather impressive though. Its all up to SNK, lol.

Yeah. SNK, being the awesome gusy that they are, might rectify their living mistake by two ways: By making Ass WAY less gay, or by killing him gruesomely by bringing back Rugal. Yeah, I sort of see what you mean. But most KoF characters have been known to wear normal clothes. If you want to see something more professional, then you have Ryo and Yuri, which still have the same outfits since the Art of Fighting games, so that's good. And Kim and his student Chae Lim. But KoF doesn't strive for normal or realistic clothing. Like they tried to have their own unique style, even though, for some reason, its more the norm for fighting games to have normal clothes. D:

The Australian release for this game was earlier this March under the title King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2; better than the rename for the American release of KOF 2006. Anyway, yeah, it came to Australia in March so it should be available for you.

Well, the game wasn't bad when I played it. My only problem with it was the really bad voice acting(Not actors) and a lack of fighting areas. There are only like 8 places to fight at. Anyway, the game is good because people can just pick up the game and start to play and learn of it, which is something that not all KOF games are known for. I do hope that they stick to sprites more, but, overall, I hope that the next 3D KOF game turns out far better than this game.
