Hey Purge, I know you're pretty much an exclusive DoTAholic, but I was curious, do you play anything else for a change sometimes? like a bit of Old Counterstrike 1.6, maybe an MMORPG here and there? I love your DoTA videos they've helped me sooo much to suck less on HoN (I used to be a LoL player, and LoL was WAAAY easier than HoN/DoTA)

@Lynkah I grew up on Super Nintendo into N64 with a little PC games. I played a ton of Halo 2 through high school/college. I played City of Villians for like 27 months total(it's an MMO) and eventually stopped to start playing DotA. I don't play a lot of video games. Most of my time is Dota 2 right now with a very occasional splash of SC2.

@PurgeGamers Wooo SNES! also Ocarina on the N64 was probably my favourite game of all time. I played CoV for a few months myself, but I had a really weak computer and it couldn't cope with everyone rolling the "I have 6 pets" super power, Lol. Thanks for responding! :D

Is Rupture the only reason someone would get force staff on bloodseeker? correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it also stop a tp which is the supposed counter to bloodseeker?

Vanguard is EXTREMELY good on Ursa, i usually rush a vanguard nd play agressive nd sometimes i even rosh with vanguard (no vlad yet) sucessfully, basicaly a vanguard early boost ursa's agression by a lot

About the tranquil boots: after a few games it already is a core item to my CM. Usually I play hard support/ward *** and that 150 hp regen is enough for me to stay in line/roaming for the entire game without need to buy regen or go base (even after you survive a suicidal mission to keep your carry alive). The only down side is that it delay other items, but for a hard support, low hp hero like CM is totally worth it.

@kainono I agree they are very good, but I tried them out on a vengeful spirit and I found I kept being a little too squishy in the mid game(because I was doing warding and tp scrolling and stuff) so that is my only issue with the boots currently.

Thanks for clearing up the force staff on bloodseeker purge. When that first started getting popular I was like shit son what's going on, what am I missing out on? But yeah now we have a million idiots rushing dagon with no boots on bloodseeker. I used to do that just for fun but everyone's just doing this so commonly and it's fucking ridiculous seeing as the new build up is null talismans. Completely unnecessary.

Purge when you're talking about not buying the quarterstaff first for the butterfly, you said after when you had enough money for the Eaglehorn you had to wait for enough money to buy the whole butterfly or sell an item. But you can buy it and it will go into your stash and you could switch out the quarter staff for the Eaglehorn while you wait to finish the butterfly right? I know that's also not efficient but you said you couldn't do it but you definitely can buy it with stash space

@Baldwin503 If the item is sitting in your stash it's not helping your hero perform better. A hero who has a quarterstaff is stronger than one saving for a butterfly, but once you have enough for the bfly, you are much stronger than the quarterstaff person. It's a small argument but I always buy the expensive part first(because it should get you to the next portions much more reliably in case you start dying).

I play in low lvl and this boot starters + no courier is annoying. Well i buy the courrier since i play mostly supports but still. There's also a lot of players who starts without any regen items (maybe they come from LoL where you don't have to always buy regen especially mana).

The new ring(wraith band + ring of basilus) should be used on Agi carries...if you do the mAth 1000gold buys you 1 blAde of alacrity and the ring costs slightly less thAn 1000 gold but it provides 15dmg....good early game to mid dps with the ability to control the lAne...

How big are the files for these? And how long does it take to upload? I uploaded a 48 minute match, was about 2 gigs, and took like 6 hours to upload! And that was in 480p!

Purge, u didn't convince me that forcestaff on bloodseeker is bad, i still think it's a good item...period...in 2200 gold u cant finish nor halbert nor the diffusal blade just saying...i think a force staff is a way more better item for BS in early game then a sange....

@TheSkovran I gave you the math why it's a horrible bloodseeker item. You get 10 damage from it and 10 attack speed and some worthless intelligence and a super weak nuke. Why are you paying 2200 for 10 damage/attack speed with a 120 damage nuke(before you hit 11)? If you don't do the math all of your "this item is great!" arguments are worthless. It doesn't matter about "finishing" a sange or something. Force staff is not good at all and it was demonstrated this game.

@PurgeGamers well, maybe the stats are not the good for the item, but it gives you a great escape mechanism, or forcing an enemy to go near you, or helping allies escape as well, and mostly you are paying for that, not for the stats, in my opinion, and yes bloodseeker needs a bit more mana then which he is given off the bit...and that +10 (worthless) intelligent just resolves that until he hits 15-16 level and i also think before any hero hitting 11 120 burst dmg is not that bad.

@TheSkovran BS does not need the mana. He has two mana-cheap spells to cast. BS doesn't need a force staff to escape. He needs items to do damage and to tank. Force staff is not a good item on that hero(your supports should be getting force staffs, not bloodseeker).

Purge is right supports should be getting this item and using it in the same way you usually would, simple as that.

I think you should do "medium - high" skilled pub games. Its more interesting for the viewer (more jukes, well executed ganks etc) - and you can still give tipps.

And you should divide your casts into "normal cast" and "insctructional cast" i think.

@albersas You can search that on youtube "level 1 roshan dota 2". Its just the lifesteal aura from SK and fury swipes. But its really close. I guess with a Lich and frost armor it should be way easier. And the cool thing is - roshan spawns so early you can finish him before creeps are mid.

@albersas ive seen/ done lvl 1 roshan, you can kill him before creep spawn. What me and my friend do is use heroes with summons (veno/enigma/furion/lycan/skel­) we were a little slow but still paid off. But that was some time back.

Purge, the Arcane boots didn't rearm in DotA 1.

It would reset the cooldown instead. Not sure if they fixed this particular bug in DotA 2.
