I actually did somehow hack a code for Invincibility in Touhou 6, Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, but the process was difficult cause I was mostly guessing on how to do it. Attempts to duplicate the process have proved less than successful, as you stated Touhou 7 likes to crash when Cheat Engine is running. I managed to get Full Power hacked for it, and I found someone else's invincibility code. Something makes it crash though, sometimes with nothing on, as well.
This might be alittle bit rude to ask but how do you froze the live and bomb ? -_- ? so far the only thing i can hack is making the score to 999999999 so i can get free lives and making the character have max power . please help T^T
i you mean for touhou 10. all you have to do is go to cheat engine and find touhou 10 exe. (i think you know how to do that already lol) then when you start the game pause it. and keep it to exact value. then above where it says exact value write down the # of lives you have right now (i.e:2) then click start scan. after thats done you must die. then type down your current amount of lives and click next scan. keep doing it until you have a couple of values..then freeze them. does that help? =)

I start of with 2 lives (touhou 11) I type in 2 and go to start scan, tons of numbers show up, I unpaused the game and die, I type 1 and press next scan, more numbers come up
me: T^T yes, no worries, i'll get it somehow. well it would be nice to get unlimited bombs, but if you have tons of live , when you die, you'll get some bombs anyway :D thanks!!
Someone did an invincibility code for IN and Perfect Cherry Blossom. The IN one works great, although you have to use up your bombs. The PCB is basically just a permanent border, which means that you still will lose out on spell cards.

it also works for 11 and 12...however for the bombs...i dont remember how to get those. sorry =(
