This is a diatonic instrument, no need to learn the whole musical theory to play it.

if you have some drumming experience, you will play it in no time.

if you are a beginner, then you will need to practice the strikes a bit. In any case this is an easy instrument to play.

Just dropping by to say that most vids sound quality suck. This drum sounds much much better than youtube is showing, and it's fully worth the price :)
