Now some 8 years later, had we brought the planners behind this to justice and then tackled the issues that brought it about, these deaths would not have been in vain. But allowing our leaders to abandon the fundamental principles of law (principles won at such huge human expense, less than 50 years ago) for the sake of expediency and revenge this was the start of a new tragedy between the US and the victims of it's middle-eastern foreign policy.
Which in my humble opinion, was exactly what Bin Laden had hoped for, but I am sure even he was surprised when the US began a 'nonsense' war in Iraq, set up Guantánamo Bay, Abu Ghraib, etc. his recruitment drive really took off. Learn from this once and for all.
dude tht isnt justice tht just wrong...im not american im malaysian but i still feel pity over thse hu died and those hu lost someone special in thier lives...
Much like World War 1 & 2 this day will never be forgotten. Not for the war that followed, the pain and anger and not for the light it shone on the true power of terrorism, but it will be rememberd as the day an entire globe stood still to look, feel and understand as one being the fall of two great giants. Man will always have moments in time were a certain event keeps those hours in their memories forever, but remember this only when we understand we are different will we learn to overcome it
my grandma was in the twin tower when it happened but she was lucky at the door so she ran like crazy. I always cry when she tells me the story. She lost alot of friends that day
im sry but this song sounds like a happy song and it ain't good for 9/11! o i was lucky cuz i was in NYC on 9/10/01 a day before this traject day happned '.'!i still have a picture of world trade center before it was delmolished a day later.......
that song always makes me cry...you did a great job on the video...i'm sure it'd make our countrymen proud...well...at least the ones who actually have pride in their country...
I was speechless. I felt like the wind had litterly been punched out of me when I saw what was happening on that t.v. that day at work. I couldn't take my eyes off of the t.v., but then neither could the customers, or my other coworkers, or my boss's. everyone was glued to that t.v. and hanging on to every word that was broadcast on the news, hanging onto every image that came across the screen, praying it wasn't real. but it was. my heart still breaks, my tears still flow. I Will Never Forget!
I remember I was on my way to work that day, just heading out, had the radio on in my car, only half listening to the news the 18miles I drove to get to work that day. not really listening to what was being said. but when I got to work, it hit me. Hard! I walked in, asked my coworker how her day was, as I always did. she said, "terrible" she looked so sad. I asked her what was wrong, she said, "haven't you seen the news?" I hadn't. yet. I turned to the t.v., OMG!, I instantly began crying.
My heart goes out 2 evry 1 who lost some 1 on that day, u were the most affectd. Not only did this affect our country, but thousands of lovd 1's were lost 4 evr.
AM neva going to forget this day..NEVER..I LOST friendz on this day..and also a survior of this event..and am only 16..still live in manhattan thoo..R.I.P TO ALL WHO LOST THEIR LIVES..WE WILL NEVA FORGET...=[
i totally oppose what happened in 9/11, but at the same time it was a great opprtunity for americans to look at what their government is doing in many places in the world and how many inncents were killed by the us.

To All American People;
Please remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
A lot of civilians were killed by American ARMY.
This is poetic justice.
