  • @smashingpoop yeah dude if you look up "Point Zero Jamnesty" on youtube you can find a bunch of more recent videos of us playing a set last spring with a lot of our originals and a few covers. If u give me ur email i can send u the tabs too if u still want them. Thanks for the interest!

  • whats band is this from i cant find it

  • @smashingpoop Sorry for the late response. This is from one of our own songs which is why you can't find it lol. Our band name's Point Zero.

  • insane!!! sorry to be annoying but do you have tabs for this? I'm just getting into diminished/different types of shred. Any recommendations?

    thanks

  • @molerox123 Hey thanks man, really sorry for the late response...I didn't see your post until just now. Not sure if you're still interested but I actually made a tab for my guitar part (the higher one). My friend's guitar part is exactly the same except everything is shifted 3 frets down. Hope it helps and keep shreddin ;)

  • Actually, it wont let me post the tabs on here because there are so many characters. If you give me your email I'll send them to you as an attachment.

  • Dimished Scale! Gotta love that insane sound.

  • whoa, no need to get angry over that haha. and now i realize its a pacman sound.

  • thats not sweeping noob

  • I believe its a diminished arpeggio.

  • yea it is! i at first just figured this out by ear but then i looked it up and figured out that thats what it is:)

  • so, look at them

it appears they are picking it...

  • i never said their were sweeping it I'm saying its an arpeggio

you can pick arpeggios too ya know.

  • you guys rock socks

  • thnx man

  • isinter there an effects pedal that harmonizes it for you if you dont have a second guitarist

  • im sure there is. i dnt have one but one of the fx on my friends 8 track has it.

  • great job keeping up with each other, that's really difficult without drums.

  • thanks!

  • thats sick!!!!!

  • thanks man!

  • how do u harmonize 2 guitars??

    PLS reply will help alot

    nad awesome job guys!!

    =)

  • thanx!

we actually figure out most of our harmonizations just by ear, figuring out what sounds right. what we do in this harmony and other basic harmonies is take a lick we like, and then have one person play that and the other play all of the notes to that lick raised to the third. In this lick for example (comparing guitar 1 to guitar 2), A becomes C and F sharp becomes A, D sharp becomes F sharp and finally C becomes D sharp. From that point, you just keep sliding the pattern down the neck

  • hope it helped

  • thks man

but u lost me with all those sharps and everything haha

    srry man

people told me about thirds but is that when u move the fret up 3 frets or wat???

like i said before srry i didnt understando

    =)

  • the third of a note is the third note in that scale (u need to learn the scales). For ex. a C scale is CDEFGABC so the third of c would be E (since its the 3rd note in the scale). i no its kinda hard 2 understand this stuff from just hearin it, so the only real way 2 learn it is take lessons (thats how i learned it). thanks again!

  • k thks alot man

    and ur welcome

    =)
