  • I don't like this song at all! when they made it?

  • i want a new album and a new tour

  • It's about Nelson Mandela

  • There's queen being good again

  • oooo, I like itt!! o.O

  • sounds like the show must go on

  • It would have more punch, power and magic if you know who was singing it

  • Have finish the money and now sing for make cash???

  • they still sound good but i feel some things missing!

where are that incredible acapella parts??

the thing that i hope to not disapear are that amazing brian may solos!

    Queen 4ever!

  • very emotional track, hope its on brians new album its a must, thats it brian u tell,uk buddy

  • Tell it, Brian!

  • Freddie..The only one...

  • not cool queen

  • va beh, spengo sta roba e metto su Innuendo, che mi ripulisco le orecchie.

  • I have always thought that it would be best if Queen did an album and tours as a 3-piece without someone like Paul Rodgers with Brian and Roger sharing lead vocals on of course John Deacon playing bass. They should have done this right after Made in Heaven.

  • freddy call me i still love you for ever

  • This is a song made for President MAndala

The number mentioned is his number he got in prison on Robben Eiland

  • Really different from good old Queen songs but it's a cool song :) and it talks about AIDS :D

    Can someone explain the lyrics?

  • 46664 number of Mr Mandela durinng his captivity in Prison

  • Honestly, I don't think the lyrics really NEED an explanation because they are so straightforward with what Brian May is trying to get across to the listener. And that's what I truly love about the song. You can hear the anger and the realism of him telling the listeners to stand up for what's right in the world, and if it's being done wrong to stand up and fix it.

    The Call to action!

  • That's Brian singing all right.

  • It doesn't sound like a Queen song; but that in itself is Queen. The fact that Queen are so diverse.

  • This is anthing else but not Queen!!

  • Meat Loaf??????????

  • This is a great song. It doesn't really sound like a Queen song. Not just because Freddie and John isn't here, but it isn't build up as a typical Queen song. But it shows that Queen can do everything. It's rap in there and mostly everything else. Brian does a great job on the vocals. Make the call: 16664! Ecuality for all humanity!

  • Isn't it 4664?

  • Yeah, I think it is. I'm sorry. I don't know where my mind was in that moment...

  • haha. That's fine. I was just curious.

  • its actually 46664 =)

  • agreed

  • I like this song but I prefer the live version, it has more intensity to it!

  • This is a great, overlooked song. It has elements of symphony, rap, and rock

  • It is pretty not bad. There is something good about this song. But also something not good. Anyway, I'll still vote 5 stars.

  • avon snowbear

  • this song is an insult to freddies mercurys life and wot he sang for.hppyness not pollitics and to think the state we r living in so called britan england.fuck wot a swan song.

  • what the hell are you talkin about? you must not be a true Queen fan...do some research. Freddie had his repitoire of political...

  • Agreed!! Look at Scandal and Is This the World We Created!

  • Not of course, forgetting Death on Two Legs (Dedicated to X&*& X&*(*)

  • to think freddies band ended up singing songs like this .look around in england please, politcs we mis freddie pure happy songs bri and rog come around r way u would sing its like a ghetto full of blacks and this is england.

  • aloud of shite ,politcs hope nelson mandela moves in with winnie next door to brian a roger.

  • It's not Queen without Freddie.

  • Quit being an idiot. I'd like to see you write a song as memorable as We Will Rock You. So don't talk about bad songwriting until you have written many hits, ok? This song wasn't intended to be a smash hit, but to send out a message across the world.

  • from when is this song?

  • all bollocks .not queen nomore.cashing in on freddies name pure fucking shit so called mates.

  • shite queen woz mercury this is politics pure depressing not like r freddies music. oh ye roger and brian give up ur millions to help .cos england has run dry.

  • no no no. Freddie was a great vocalist. Brian is a very good compositor and giutarist, but hes vocal is very bad for me. I have listen back to the light and for me his voice is very bad

  • brian is a really good vocalist :)

his voice is stable, is strong, it has also a non-common sound...

Try the soundtrack of the movie "Furia", i was like 'wow! what a voice!' :)

  • yo are right

  • ??? I don't know what to say to that comment. Did you ever listen to any of brians solo albums? Or any queen song that features brians voice? His vocal range is amazing...

  • He is a great singer. You're not much of a speller though

  • Brian's voice is so powerful.

  • But, is this queen??? for me, queen is brian may, roger taylor, john deacon and freddie mercury... for me this is a song from roger taylor and brian may...

  • this is an amazingly powerful song!!! i love it so much :) brian is so amazing!!! i love Queen and him with all of my heart and soul <3

  • Just one word-FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

  • incredible that this song does not appear on the new album

  • I agree...It would sound great in Paul, Roger and Brian voices together

  • I want freddie to sing this....

  • @56Nikos

    hes dead

  • Great song, great performance !

  • Wow, Brian's voice is pretty powerful in this one.

  • I know, its incredible that most people call Brians voice a weak one, especially considering the power he carried on Ressurection, on his solo album, Back to the light (1992)

  • yeahm ressurection is a great song. bri's voice improved much because he sang more after freddie's death.

  • When not listening to this, expecting Queen, it is really great and I am really happy it is May singing, not some guest singer for both he and Taylor has such great voices! And the subject, tough one and a needed one!

  • I am a massive Queen fan, but what is this?

  • Sure, any fan of them are so used to Freddie's voice and style, his spirit and zest. Sadly he was cut down in his prime. And it's no doubt he would have wanted them to go on, even if it meant finishing the album and such. And I'm willing to bet he enjoyed their voices as much as his own. It's not the same as their previous stuff. But I don't think they were trying for that anyway.

  • what are you talking about no bloody wow factor? it has enough wow factor to me even through my crappy speakers - imagine yourself listening to that live...:O i could do nothing but gawp!

  • the problem with declarations of the usefulness of man's law is that it's man's law...we'd understood the earth not to be partitioned in greed so long ago. but look what it's done. philosophical or not, we're basically functioning as maritime liquid capital. investures. ANY aim to change is more passionate and brave than some cheap pit for hooch at the club or new rims for a ride you dont need. The song is explosive and passionate... i'm sure it'd be mixed properly rather than this bootleg form

  • It's very energetic and powerful song!!!!

  • It's OK I guess but really does lack that 'Wow!' factor I guess everybody is hoping for. Just goes to show too how much Brian and Freddie (and Roger & John) needed each other as some sort of a catalyst.

  • Where did you get this?

  • This song takes some getting used to but when you get used to it, it's great.

  • I'm a big queen fan, but this is crap.

  • Omg u stupid poor motherfukker ! Ur so WRONG !

  • Good song, but doesn't sound like Queen.

  • Brians vocal here, reminds me of his vocal on Ressurection, from the brilliant "Back To The Light" solo album he realised in 1993

  • WoW, this song really kicks ass ! ! !

  • sounds JUST like neal morse!!!!

  • this song was written for the aids cause,

  • John's not playing bass.

anyway, i'm glad to hear that Queen can still rock. they've only done ballads since Freddie died, this song is great. i think it might be better if Paul Rodgers sang a bit in this song, though. i've never heard Brian do a rocker before.

  • This isn't a new song... "The Call" was done for some charity work (thats what the 4664 is all about.. its Nelson mandelas prison number).

They also did "Invincible Hope", "Say Its Not True" etc. These are awesome, but not new.

  • Because Brian isn't really singing in the song, I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me.

  • Care to explain how exactly Brian isn't singing this?

  • He only sings a small part of it, he seems to rap most of the song, exept he doesnt put on that rediculous 'im a black gangster' accent thing artists like Kanye West and 50 cent do.

  • i think this could be in the top 5, its really addictive even my chavy sister liked it.

  • and brian sings good but freddy better

this name brian is a singer name cause brian johnson bryan adams this brian and OTHERs

  • Please, don't tell that it needs more work to production! The song is perfect!Did you hear the classical orechestra or are you deaf?

  • Its a good song, but needs more work on the production. No doubt this is not a finished version.

  • The song had potential, starts well, good riffs and powerfull, then in the verse it totally drops into a mish-mash and you just get headage. Compare this to "no one but you", this is a very bad song IMO.

  • De quien es el tema?? ¿De Queen????

  • is tht john deacon playing bass, i hope he come back, i love john ( im not gay), it would be good to se him on a new tour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very powerful song I love it

  • I think the plan was to release a studio album of all the 46664 after the concert from Queen and all the artists who took part... but it never materialised. I remember seeing some studio footage on TV before the concert. Still pretty good though aint it!

  • Yeah, Sounds pretty damn good to me ;) It has that bond-song feeling to it somehow, Think it's the orchestral bits along with the guitar riff in the beginning..

  • Yeah, But isn't this studio version new though? And you're right, it's indeed Brian Singing, I'll change it right now.

  • This song is quite a few years old now. It was done for the first 46664 concert. Its Brian singing by the way.
