Wow. Glad I found this. I had to sleep in a car the first night because there weren't any hotels with rooms available. Glad I got to see it in Titusville and again here.

that's supposed to happen. those are booster packs full of jet fuel that the shuttle needs for that incredible thrust into space. there are 2 little ones, and the giant orange one, which comes off later

nice launch, 6:46 you can see the insulation foam on the external tank vibrating, hope nothing came off
