  • i reckon all actresses need to make a lesbian movie to add to their list of films before they can be considered truely great.

    consider angelina jolie, kiera knightly, helen mirren etc.

    however when a guy makes a gay movie, it doesnt really do much to help their career, maybe perhaps with the exception of leo di caprio.

    Not at all, because a lesbian role is not as significant as a gay role. How many men have won Oscars playing gay men and how many women have won playing lesbians?

    Making a gay movie does wonders for a man's acting career. Ask Tom Hanks, Sean Penn, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Greg Kinnear and Ed Harris to name a few.
