He was one of the only wrestlers willing to take a chair shot to the back of the head. So Kennedy was right, it wasn't steroids.

Those suspensions weren't limited to just steroid usage, they were also for people buying prescription drugs over the internet, which is also against the WWE Wellness Policy.
Kennedy may not have ever taken steroids.
