  • The Golden Rule--to me--represents tolerance and respect. I have a difficult time liking and befriending others, but humans seem to have it in their mind that respect = friendship. No, no, a thousand times, no. I can show respect and tolerance for others, but most surely, the vast majority of those will never have my friendship. I am coldly diplomatic and helpful only when I sense it is needed, but I give respect and tolerance to all, without prejudice.

  • @DayMare2000 - It's give and take but there ae those that want to take and not give.

  • @atomarane Those are the prejudice people.

  • Aww, you look so pretty.

    loving the makeup and hair.

thank god people are starting to understand metaphysical stuff.

I hope everyone gets it soon not just a fraction of the population!

  • Thanks for the compliment ... missed your comments.

I think people are understanding - to some degree - but there is large world out there and many people that don't even get news or have television. :(

  • From an early age religion teaches us to believe, without question, what they are teaching you is truth. What's funny to me is you can take three different people and have them read the same Bible verse and they can each interpret the lesson differently. Not to mention that verse has been translated and re-translated over the centuries from one language to another. The meaning can be totally changed in the translation.

  • So very true. I saw something on TV last week that said the power was being taught to be within us all and then the churches wanted to take that power away from the people and put it into the churches. I guess they did everything they could to make sure it went their way and that's why we have so much confusion today with what we read. Of course, you're right - everyone will read a text and see in it what they want.

  • Religious History does lie!

  • True enough - even in regular history. Things can be omitted or falsified. Some intentional and some not.

  • Thank you for posting this video. It followed along with what my husband and I have been discussing lately. Thank you so much! :)

  • You're welcome.

  • (you are welcome?) I have it in book form, it's beside my bed at the moment with a pile of others in the same vein. It was eye opening :-)

  • This is awesome. Evey video I am in aw. I hope you keep sharing this information. I hope you have the best Friday ever and I hope your weekend is a very happy and relaxing one. i am sending you Big hugs and tons of kisses for your cheeks. God bless you and your family.

  • Thanks Joe and may you and yours have a wonderful weekend. Hugs.

  • Also, I feel that the figures Jesus,Krishna from Hinduism, are all either the same person, or plagiarized. After all,it's agreed humanity started in the Fertile Cresent, which is around Iraq if I'm not mistaken, by the Sumerians 13,000 years ago(or older),and they too have a flood story (but also mathmatics, our mapped solar system).I also beg to differ with people who claim our technology is "it". But I digress, I don't think these people plagiarized maliciously, but the similarities are uncanny.

  • It's just trying to remember exactly what happened, or was said, twenty or more years later. It can be difficult to the best of us.

And then there are those that wish to elaborate on a subject - like those fish stories. :)

I know Jesus exists because of what I had happen to me and I also know that he was a walk-in because of others that I met.

Fact: there were others healing and propheting at the same time period or near about the same and I think that caused some confusion too.

  • At this point, I really wouldn't know.

However, until I find a truth (confirmed for me), I won't dismiss a thing. Every bit of information is important and I respect your experiance.

  • That's the way it should be - that's keeping an open mind and what scientist say ... I don't know - let's investigate. :)

  • "...regarding history, including religious history, and how things can be distorted or falsified ... even unintentionally."

I know exactly what you mean. :)

The Bible was translated by King James of England and Scotland. I think that's enough said.

Reality (perception) is not actuality (is).

  • Even though many things were written later, a lot of things were omitted from the bible during the First Council of Nicaea around 325 AD.

The Koran was completed about 20 years after Muhammad's death. Since everything was oral (nothing written), I can understand the confusion due to all the interpretations one must have thought they had heard or saw during his time. We still do it today (misunderstand things).

I wonder how I'd feel now if I hadn't the notes that I wrote back 20 yrs ago.

  • Speaking of omitted, I've learned alot reading the excluded texts, it actually helped me to rectify alot of the problems that I had with christianity - particularly in regards to it's rules and portrayals of women and other ideas about Jesus and religion that didn't make it in. I think more people should look for what they don't want everyone to know.

  • Gospel of Mary .. Mary said to him, Lord, I saw you today in a vision. He answered and said to me: Blessed are you, that you did not waver at the sight of me. For where the mind is, there is the treasure. I said to him, So now, Lord, does a person who sees a vision see it through the soul or through the spirit? In the conversation, the Savior teaches that the inner self is composed of soul, spirit, and mind, and visions are seen and understood in the mind.

    How about that? :)

  • Hee hee. I'm not surprised a bit coming from you!

  • I'm glad someone found this Gospel and it's on the internet. And I like the part where he kisses her too. ;-)

Besides, I just got to do what I just got to do! Oh yeah! :D
