  • I was assured in Hawaii and at Disneyland that Dole Whip is a vegan product, however, the ingredients you showed point to the contrary. Thanks for posting this! Glad I'm not vegan, but my friends will be disappointed.

  • Another option would be to stop by a frozen yogurt store and pick up some pineapple yogurt (given you can find a store that has some- I've seen pineapple dole whip at a Menchie's in Orlando), take some pineapple juice, get some parfait cups and there ya go!

  • @mcbjvhgurl

Dole Whip is much much better than just some frozen pineapple yogurt.

  • what flavor qould you reccomend?

  • OMG! I gots the mix and is eating some right now! Tastes so good!!!!

  • link?

  • This is great, but if you have the Pampered Chef Measure All and Mini Whipper, where is the 2 quart batter bowl? ;-D

  • Wonderful and it turned out just like the video shows! I bet those who said it did not freeze right might not have frozen their maker bowl overnight. Love Disney, love Inside the Magiv, love Dole whip!

  • THATS AMAZING!

  • I love you right now for sharing this!

  • I heard it's better if you use milk instead of water. Anyone know for sure? Thanks for any feedback.

  • @noequalrecords I would assume that by replacing all or even half the liquid with milk would result in a better result. As the person below seemed to have trouble I can only speculate that the reason being was because they added too much water at the end. By adding milk however you create a better suspension/emulsion and thereby have a better colloidal reaction and a creamier texture. Hope this helps! (P.S. Do not substitute skim, 1%, 2% milk or whole milk. Heavy cream all the way!)

  • when I go I spend most of the money my parents give me for the day on this and the churros, and yet I'm still skinny as heck. that stuff is so good I must make my parents get some so we don't have to go to Disney every month.

  • I am convinced that the person in this video added or did something different that wasn't included in the steps. I got my mix, followed the same steps as the video (and instructions), used the same ice cream machine (Bowl was frozen) and after the 25 minutes and longer it stayed as a liquid. So whatever you do, don't follow the steps this video displays, you'll have nothing but liquid and a wasted batch.

  • You are a Life Saver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I had mine at Disney it did look like yours and I have been craving this ever since I got back in June!!! My friend Had one also but hers was more like ice cream. I like this one better!

  • pineapple whip from springfield is better

  • This is great! Thanks for posting :) Mmmmm... Dole Whip!

  • <3 i was just thinking of dole whip and i searched and i found this video~ *faves* i will hopefully ask to get it later =]

  • Same here!

  • when i make it i put some crushed pineapple in it too! so yummy!

  • This video is great!! Just got back from WDW and I have been DREAMING of Dole Whip! I love the music in the background...

    Ordering my supplies!!!

  • oh man just looking at it i can already taste it!! aaaahhhhhggg I WANT DOLE WHIP!!!!!!!!!

  • Ordered my ice cream maker from amazon and my dole whip mix from uec. I'm really hoping it turns out close, at least, so I can have a little of Disney World at home. Thanks for the video and love the podcast!

  • it does not work it just stays a liquid. i folowed all the steps but mine dident get icecreamlike D:

  • *mouth waters* yay! :D

  • Do you know how many batches can be made from one bag?

  • Quite a lot. To make a gallon of Dole Whip (as seen in this video), you barely use any powdered mix... just over a cup.

I estimate you'd be able to make at least 70 Dole Whips per bag.

  • @computerman93 2 gallons worth !

  • AUTHENTIC!

  • Awesome, thanks for the instructions!

  • this doesn't look as "ice-cream-like" as teh one that you can get at disney

  • That's true, unfortunately. These ice cream makers are designed to make hardened ice cream, not soft serve. You'd need a soft serve machine to duplicate what's in the parks.

  • I've been to Disney World about 10 times and I've never had a Dole Whip. :( Hopefully I'll remember to try one when I go in a couple months.

  • Damn that looks GOOD!! Thanks for the instructions!!!

  • awesome! i was looking 4 something like this

  • just can't wait to make my own. Thanks for showing me how

  • This is a great video, I just rec'd my dole whip from Hawaii. Now to put on a hawaiian shirt and some tiki music and follow your steps. thanks for sharing . :)

  • We LOVE pineapple floats from Disney! Once summer comes around, we're gonna have to get some of that mix! Not too bad for you either!

  • You can cook at my house anytime - you are very neat!

  • Ricky Brigante has a really nice kitchen

  • 1 of my 2 60 gig Ipods is full of all of the inside the magic stuff 100 percent full

  • I &heart; Inside the magic :-)

  • Step 1: buy it

    Step 2: make it

    Step 3: eat it

I though this would be some sneaky way to make Dole Whip on your own. Not just a "go buy it and follow the directions" kind of thing :/ Not that exciting.
