We are the center for technology and IT development for the entire south, and south west. The Silicon micro chip was invented RIGHT HERE. We hold the JIP, which is the server center that contains all of the financial information for the federal government. We are the seat for more fortune 500s than any other metro except NY, and they don't have us beat by much. We are the live music capitol of the world. More live music here than Austin even.

It is also one of the biggest bases of commerce and trade on earth. DFW itself is the 4th largest metro in the US. We have some of the most respected museums on earth, and we have spawned some of the greatest talent on earth. There are more restaurants per capita in DFW than anywhere else.
