My question is, once you get to the bottom of the mountain, how long does it take you to get to the top?

@olvidasalgo At the bottom of the mountain is a town called Aguas Calientes, from here the buses take the tourists up to the site. I can't remember exactly how long the bus ride took, as it was 6 years ago when I visited there, but it was not very long. Maybe it was 30 or 40 minutes, but I can't be sure now. I remember the road zig-zagged up the mountain. At the top there was a hotel, visitors centre, toilets and turn-style entrance into the park. The train trip from Cuzco was about 3 hours.

Cusco is a paradise, an incredible land. You see and you still dont believe what you just saw. just like that. It has the magic that wraps you in its marvelous natural beauty.

i think it is older than 10.000 years

im not sure if it is here or lake titicawee were there is a U shaped hole in a stone block or wall and there is another place where a U shaped hole on an anchor stone on MT JUDI in turkey.that anchor stone weighs about 20.000 lbs and is said to belong to NOAHS boat.there is also a boat formation there.

we do not have the tech to make a U shaped hole 2day.

that is why i say this is older.

bueno eso sip...se podría decir que reescubrio ya que kmo dices pues se dice que hubo una inscripcion con un año anterior a la fecha en que llego Hyran Bingham, pero tambien que nuesro país lo reconoce como que descubrio esta ciudadela , lo digo por la placa que existe en la entrada a Machu Picchu . :)
