These flowers are perfect. I made a "Belle Fleur" Scarf 2 little girls under the age of 10. The flowers that came with the pattern were much too large and these are absolutely perfect to fit the leaves on the scarf. Thanks so much. I love your videos!
Super easy video to understand! Thanks for uploading. I just crocheted a kid's beanie and am DYING to crochet this little flower to add to it! Thanks again! Enjoy all your videos!! =)
i watched naztazia's beginner vodeos and learned the most basic stitches and im 13 years old...learned 3 days ago and your explaniation is outstandingly easy to understand if you understand the basics, but i am just aa fast learner and this came fairly naturally to me. i also made your small flower one, really she is only doing chains, double and tripple crochet and slip stitches. fairly easy if you know what to do but you can pickk it up by watching and pausing
i also did chain 4 in the begining with a size h hook just incase anyone wants to use a different size. and instead of tripple on the last petal, i continued double. the only thing i am wondering is why there is only one white line on your last petal?
i am very new to crochet and i looked at naztazias crochet for the absolute beginner two part series to start me off...i just learned 3 days ago and i know many basic stitcches and i just finished.. very easy and great explaination. i just dont undersand why there is a white line in your flower and i just did doube crochet all around even on the last petal...only my preferance...but great video and love them all...i even made your small crochet flower one... very lovely as well.
this video is really lame. you should sound a bit more pleasant cus you sound like "oh my god, why am i doing this?" and i cant understand a single thing your doing cus you go too fast and you count to fast. srry but this video does not help at all.
people keep saying that she goes too fast but she isn't! If you're a bigginer then it will seem fast as you won't know the meaning of what she is saying (chain three single stitches ...) If you don't know the basics, everything will seem too fast and too hard to make. Go and watch all of her bigginer vids to learn all the basic stitchs then come back to this vid and it will all be much easyer to follow =]
@hellbunny992 thanks for writting this because i was about to comment on how i got so aggravated by me not understanding it... i'm only thirteen and i've had crochet stuff for like five days!!!
@MsElfaba thanks, i know i've made a scarf, a bow for my hair and a beanie so far, the beanie came out a bit funny though because i improvised, i'll have to do it properly next time around
Thanks! I have been trying to figure out making a flower with written instrustions. This help a lot. I did have to start over once but the 2nd time It worked.
hi teresa..i tried the slinky flower..and it came out beautifully..i am asking u again as i didnt get a reply last time i asked u..could u please share written instructions of a tube shrug or a bolero...thanks
@doglover0120 I will send you the link to the beginner crochet stitches. Being familiar with the basic stitches will be helpful with projects like this one.
what does slip stitch through the chain three mean? I love your videos! Im following the one for the beanie cap and have already made 3 and sold 1! I would love to add flowers but Im confused by this video of what slip stitch through the chain three means? Thanks!
@batfirebird After you chain, you will want to join the chain to make a circle. You attach the two ends together with a slip stitch. That is inserting your hook through the first chain, wrap the yarn over your hook, pull through both chains on the hook to join.
Confused! When making the original Ch-3 loops, you make 5 loops/petals .You demonstrate the first two using 5 DC each, then say do it three more times = 5 petals. Then you say there is one more Ch-3 loop, and you demonstrate it using 5 triple crochet. Are you saying there are actually 6 petals in the flower, or are you simply displaying that you can make the 5 petal flower using triple crochet instead of double. In other words, does the flower have 5 petals total or 6 (5 small & 1 larger)?
@mustangTNT At timecode 2:04 where I stopped and said that, I had only completed 2 petals. Timecode 2:28 is showing how to work the same petal with triple crochet. It is providing an alternative stitch. Your flower can have as many petals as you want to make.
@MissEioMi I have found that some of the nicer yarn that is softer may pull apart when you are working with it. It does not mean that it is poor quality yarn. You may want to try working slower to make sure you catch all of the strand of yarn.
This little flower is so cute and simple to do. I can't wait to get started on one (maybe more *^^*). Is it possible for you to make a video on how to make a small bow? You have been making videos on hair accessories it would be really cool if you make a hair bow too. *^^* B A D L U V 1 2
those are cute. im going to get my yarn and watch it again and try as i go. you can sew these things on to pursses or the littel scissor holders my grandma makes for the arts and crafts show things she goes to. thanks for demestrating and easy flower. :)
i attached this flower on the bikini top you made the tutorial for! looks so pretty and i love it! thank you so much! xx

You can do them all the same. The triple crochet petal is for demonstration purposes to show that the petals can be made with a larger stitch.

this is cute, I'm curious why you used treble crochet for the last petal and all others were double?
