I bet you get strange looks from canonites when you arrive with that bag then pull out the D300s? :D
How do you find the sigma 70-200 in general? I ordered a new one last week, same version I think? (hsm II, non OS) not got it yet but looking forward to it. I use a D90 myself, an only a few lenses. I'm no pro but I say I was fairly competent.
Ignore idiots who slam your gear, they're not worth it.
@Cagey75 I've actually switched bags since then to an F.64 BP Large Backpack for more space. I love the Sigma, its sharp, autofocus is fast and its tough. I believe I have the HSM I not II but the 2nd came out shortly after I got mine. and thanks man!
@Post12Production1 My lens arrived a few hours after posting :) - unfortunately it was a rotten day weather-wise here, rain, hurricane winds etc ... but hop to give it a good try out tomorrow. It fits in my little bag, but not attached to the body. i'll be ordering a new bag soon too, hopefully. Maybe a lowepro 350aw or one that fits the laptop too.
do you like the D300 nikon? i have to D70 i'm in love with it but im not sure i heard the D300 was a better body -- but my dad was a professional for 15 years and he just gave me his d70 cause he cant get around to take anything anymore :|
@Kaylagirl1238 I have the D300s, the only real difference is HD video, but I love it, it really depends on what you shoot, how often you shot, and if you make any money shooting. The D300s is the just about the highest DX format body from Nikon so the only place to really go from here is a full frame body. If you want a more personal, sort of tailored recommendation inbox me and I'll go more in depth.
@StationZeroOne Thats funny, wanna be professional. I work for 2 newspapers and a booking company as well as personal projects I get money for. I'm still in highschool, I don't have 1000's upon 1000's of dollars for lenses. And I'm in the midst of selling the D60, I bought the D300s as an upgrade and just haven't sold the D60 yet.
@StationZeroOne That's pretty sweet man, great position to be in. If you're shooting for Redbull don't you think you're a little too old to be going around youtube insulting, or try to, highschool students who are trying to make it to the same position you are in?
@Post12Production1 Instead of upgrading to a bigger bag you should use your current canon bag as a storage bag and get a small sling or messenger bag for your main kit. Then it's easy to just grab and go.

@StationZeroOne As a matter of fact, I do. I'm 17 and I don't even do things like this.

Aren't you afraid of your awesome Nikon gear melting or exploding in that canon bag?
MrDigitalZombie 1 year ago
@MrDigitalZombie Canon bag was from back when I had a video only set up, trying to upgrade to a larger bag but they're so damn expensive.

@Post12Production1 I'm never in a "grab and go" situation. Anything I shoot I get there a good 30-40 minutes ahead of time to set up.

How do you get yourself out there to shoot events?
xbrandonolsonx 1 year ago
@xbrandonolsonx Do you mean literally how do I get there, or how do I get the job to shoot the event?

What kind of pool table is that? I've been looking at a couple brands, but I'm not sure which brand name is the best.
