  • Other than the better backgrounds and dodgey sound, that's remarkably similar to the Amiga version.

The little TV you picked up on the first level and where disappointed it didn't do anything -- on the Amiga it makes the screen go black + white. I've never figured out why!

  • Sounds odd for sure.

  • Should've done the AMIGA one or maybe Super James Pond for the SNES.

  • I'll have to see if I can get this for my Amiga and do a GamePlay vid when I get them started next week.. Drop me a msg if you've any other suggestions for classic Amiga games I can review :)

  • Sensi Soccer and the Cannon Fodder games come to mind. Then possibly Soccer Kid :)

  • Yes I bought Cannon Fodder on the MegaDrive and had it originally on my Amiga 500.. Will have a look out for the other x2 though - thanks :)

  • This was released on the C64, and Commodore Format once had the worst playable demo ever on it's mag; all you could do was run around the outside of the castle; once you'd exhausted the power-up blocks and defeated the enemies, there was nothing else to do. You could die and start over, but it was one of those demos where dying meant resetting the machine and loading the tape again.

Anyway, excellent coverage as always; you may not have had much time but you saw more of the game than I did. :P

  • The Amiga game was my favourite back in the day, a real shame the MD version doesn't have the Penguin advertisements as they added to the charm.

  • i love this game,i have this one

  • It's a fun game and well worth losing a few hours hours on :)
