You did a really good job rendering Gregorian Scarborough Fair with these pictures. It brings the song to life! This is exactly where the song takes me whenever I listen to it. Merci!
This is the first time i saw your work on this video and I would like to say that you really a great job of drawing out the song. great job! i hope to see more of your work!
I have watched one or two of your posted videos, and I can only say this: your ability to give music a measure of imagery goes beyond amazing. I have a bit of an affinity for the Masters of Chant...especially during the two greatest Simon & Garfunkel songs ever recorded...but with your associated images, the music becomes its own entity. Take a bow, Louisiana Leroux...you've certainly earned it.
@LouisianaLeroux No, I mean the pic right before that. Although now that I look at it, I guess 2:07 is a transition pic. I should have put 2:05. Sorry about the confusion. All of the pictures are beautiful and put with this music just takes me away to some amazing, fantastical world. ;)
@3Authoress I hope I have this right, :-); the one right before it is of people dancing. No problem, confusion... I am there all the time. *Giggle* Thanks you, I work hard on my pictures, making many by merging multiples and enhancing others. I am so glad you are enjoying it. Have a nice day and take care! :o)
Oh cool. This vid works well weith Zeppelin's Kashmir too. Where did you get this great footage? It makes me want to dress up like a little wood nymph and go frolic!
the video is awesome! the music, the pics - girls are beautiful, the paintings and the scenery are all very enchanting! very relaxing to imagine if you were in that picture. no words on this planet that could ever described that feeling. nice work, Lou!
What impressed me the most about this video was not the pictures (although those were magnificent), or the choice of song (which was beautiful), but the historical background you gave about the song and its origins. All in all, this is an exceptional video, quality not seen every day.
This is simply a beautifully done video. While you did a masterful job syncronising the images with the lyrics, I am even more impressed by the extensive background history of the song provided in the video description, not something you see very often.
As a history buff, I knew some of the background info on the song, but you provided details not only on the song, but also on the different versions made over the centuries.
If ratings were enabled, I would give this video 5 stars. Well done.
this vid is the best ive seen so far. the best 4min and 52sec of my life! the women in there are so beautiful! especially the one in the blue and red dress!
Within my play list you will find other Gregorian song such as Bridge Over Troubled Water, Sounds of Silence, and Ave Maria. They have made many, such as Stairway to Heaven, and Sebastian. You can search right here on YouTube under Gregorian chant and find many.
Thank you Donny, I worked on it all night. You know it was a real fair. There is information in the description about it. Have a good day and God bless.
