Now that I think about it, judging from the credits rolling this was the end of a show. Which means Flipmode probably performed earlier during the show & could've been invited out for an impromptu jam. If this wasn't planned and was a spur of the moment thing, then I forgive them. Albeit a little awkward, you can't shoot an artist for a jam that doesn't go well. It's off the top of their heads, it can't be perfect. Otherwise, if it was prearranged then shame on them for such a poor showing.

Flipmode is much better than this particular clip may indicate. Though, I've always considered them underachievers as for some reason, they've never really caught on big, save Busta Rhymes. But, they're just as good as any of the other crap thats out nowadays--probably a little better.

Second, Rampage has always been considered the weak link in Flip Mode & he proves it here. He shows how little respect he has for his elder by not even knowing the lyrics to the song he's ruining. Third, Dirty Harriet is quite underrated. Rah Digga is much more talented than Lil Kim, Eve, or Foxy. Seems like she's going for some syncopated rhythmic idea that doesn't go over well with this song. This clip isn't the best representation of her talent, as is the case for the entire group.

Ok, here's an openminded review of this clip. First of all, it's obvious that Busta is freestyling and considering that, it wasn't so bad. But dude, you're on TV. Write some f---ing lyrics out before you just mosey on out and crap all over someone else's lengendary song. And I also found his constant signals to the band to play softer during Harriet Thugman's rap a bit annoying. The band isn't too loud, just figure out what the hell you're about to say into the mic.
