Seriously? If you already knew Pro/E, this is too basic. If you don't already know Pro/E, it's too confusing. The sounds suck... get rid of them. Just because you can use sounds with the capturing software doesn't mean you should.
These various Pro/E training things make me scratch my head. If you REALLY want to get good at Pro/E, none of these videos does a damn bit of good. You need an ace to teach you. All the books and videos do is show you crap any moron could figure out on their own.
omg my tech ed is teaching us a version of this in 7th grade Tech Ed. and we r all learing disabbled wif it. we actuay got to break today and cut rough shapes of the wood lol
Not to be critical about your video, but you did not clearly cover the importance of using constraints to lock down your sketch. In your example, you have 2 dimensions which do not contribute to the design and are considered redundant.
Also the technique of creating a sketch first instead of inside the feature has both advantages and dis-advantages. This should be explained as most Advanced users will tell you that sketches inside the feature have more advantages than the method you used.
is it in cm or mm

How can i make those linies without always selecting line over and over again?
And how can i cancel the creation?
0815tobey 1 year ago
@0815tobey You don't have to select the previous line you drew, just connect it by putting the mouse on the edge of it
...As for removing something, there's an eraser-like tool in the set of buttons on the right
or you can right click the Sketch you did after you exit sketch mode, in the history on the left side
...you can also press undo
Anyway... is there any place i can get a simple tutorial on making a drawing _ that is some site that i don't have to pay a fukton of money to access

nice video! I just want to know what is the difference between Autocad and Pro/Engineer Wildfire 3.0.
yasamih 4 years ago
ProE is creating actual 3D parametric models while AutoCad creates a 2D etch-a-sketch.
