If I recall, when Uli left, Michael actually rejoined for a short time and helped on Lovedrive, and toured for a short time, before Matthias joined, I have an old poster from '79 with Michael on guitar with Rudy =)

@wikkedmelodies you are correct,Michael had just left UFO & Rudy asked him to joined back in Scorpions  but Michael had other plans but he did played on 3 songs off the album, ,Matthias was already in the picture playing on the rest of the songs of the album,as a stand by & when Michael left again during the Lovedrive tour Matthias became permanent!
