Cancer has become more and more abundant since industrialization and has everything to do with diet, toxins and enviroment… MSG aggravates cancer and makes it more aggressive. Aspartame is also a food additive that creates cancer. Toxins in the body from food, water and air that has been contaminated will cause cancer. For someone so wise im very shocked she says that diet has nothing to do with it... its really almost sad.

@marynhopper I went to one of Susun's workshops years ago&saw her aura so strongly (had never seen them before) never said it to anyone at the time, but she had a beautiful rose aura with gold in it as well. Her spirituality felt very grounded: when someone is as bright& full of wisdom,learning &strong convictions as Susun is, that can feel threatening to some people. I have learned a lot from her books&find her teaching style refreshing;i am delighted she can make a living from helping people!

Cancer is an abnormal cell, certainly not healthy. See book 'cancer is a fungus' and see these vids on you tube. With cancer see Jane Plants book, 'Life is is your hands'.... basically summed up to giving up all milk products (presumably via high in estrogen) and it shrunk Professor Jane plants cancer, its a fantastic story. Cruciferous vegetables help us to breakdown excess harmful estrogens to good estrogens.

Wish I had seen this vid 10 years ago because I didn't understand menopause as a spiritual passage. For 3 days/month I had a temperature of 102, migraine & insane sweaty dreams. All I could do was write wild prose and sometimes plaster walls. I became thin with dark circles under my eyes. I burned through all my sick leave then finally decided to take drugs. "Bioidentical" hormones allowed me to keep my job and function. Without them I might have become a famous author or an asylum inmate.

Susun Weed is very charismatic and convincing. But there is really no need to split the HOLISTIC tradition in two ("Heroic" and "Wise Woman"). What she calls the "Wise Woman" approach is very useful, and probably does need some reinstatement. Still, it is just one side of the whole, and there is a right time and place for all the aspects of the holistic healing process.

I think what Susun has done is separated the 'holistic' tradition in 3! The scientific tradition does work to heal both mind and body doesn't it? With its anti-psychosis medication, etc. The Wise woman tradition is the part of this whole that accepts daily setbacks .. the ebb and flow of health... Not trying to 'fix' or 'balance' anything.

Anyone who doesn't see the important diference between the heroic and wise woman traditions must have their enema cord stuck too far up their butt!! ;)

to have a debate with Dr. Brian Clement of the Hippocrates Health Institute on the subject of living foods. I would like to see her go up against his 30+ years of clinical research on this subject. Not to make her look foolish, not to shame her, but ONLY so PEOPLE can know all the facts on what a living foods diet can do to help make a person strong and come back to life again.

people need to realize that finding their "right" way is about learning many paths of health and healing.. so many folks go overboard for whatever reasons, to me, life is about creating balance..

herbs are naturally full of nutrients that our bodies crave.. we as a people have lost this knowing to some degree over the ages.. but many wonderful people like our dear susun have kept herbal healing alive..

i love alot of what she says- only thing is i use bio idential estrogel and its awesome, i was completly ill (call it menopause i was fking ill !!!) now i am back on my feet and fel great! but part of me wants to make it through menopause and be healthy in my own right. i dont want to depend on hormones in a tube! i agree that menopause is a very spiritual thing though -very!

i've gone to some of her talks. i've found that her suggestions work, big time. i recommend getting her books. she's helped me a lot. she's fascinating. you can study at her farm/school in upstate new york if you're tough enough to handle it. & it's not pseudo-science. she has done significant field work in addition to decades of self-study. she's incredibly knowledgeable. friends with the real patch adams, if i remember correctly. quite well respected all over the world.
