@gogitta25 Not really dude, Jim Marshall was one of the greats. 30 recovered fumbles which is a record, and he was a member of the "Purple People Eaters." One of the most feared front four of all time, they appeared in three Super Bowls. And later in this same game he sacked the QB and forced a fumble which was returned by Minnesota for a Touchdown.
Well, I can tell you beyond doubt he was with the team. I watched all four Vikings Superbowls, not only did he paly, but started. He was with the Vikings an additional 3 years after their last Superbowl in 76'.
@sekzaholic1 Actually Jim Marshall went to the school of real morons, THE Ohio State, where you get a degree just by showing up if you play sports and heck, you can get paid for it too
Leave it to the Vikings! lol
Krystle1990BC 1 week ago

NaziZombieFREEEEK 1 month ago

wattaplaya000 1 month ago
@wattaplaya000 Play in question happened in 1964....Vikings were a sad sack team at that point...the 4 Super Bowls happened years later.

Later in the game, Marshall sacked the opposing QB, causing a fumble, and Carl Eller picked it up and returned for the winning score. Problem solved.
The guy should be in the Hall of Fame.

He is still one of the best players ever

The best part is the 49ers player going up to him presumably to thank him for the 2 points lol
thndrct218 8 months ago 61
@thndrct218 Best part is the 49ers players running after the ball after it was chucked out of bounds like they could recover the fumble
