First time I have heard this one, although I knew it existed. It sounds good, but still I think it would have been a the weakest track on that brilliant album, so it was a sound decision not to finish it.
this instrumental was only released on Bootlegs under the title of,Is There Life After Marriage.and is in fact the 'backing track' for the abandoned Scary Monsters version of 'I Feel Free',which you can clearly hear throughout the recording.....
Get the F**K out of here, they were gonna do "I Feel Free" on Scary Monsters??!! I never heard that. What a great oppurtunity for Ronno to guest. Well, it came together on a blistering version from "Black Tie/White Noise", so I can't complain, but I'd love to hear Mick circa 1980 w/ this lineup. Thanks for posting this stuff. You're shaming my lack of Bowie boots! Here I'm thinking I'm cool just because I have "Dollars in Drag/In His Master's Voice" on LP!!
great for poi swinging :)

It also reminds me of "Real Cool World", also from the era of Jump They Say and the newer I Feel Free

'Jump, (they Say)'. Anyone agree?
Sounds like he re-visited this at a later date, as musicians do. Other than that. I'm not surprised it was an outtake.

Always though this would be great to mix to Bowie's vocals on the 1993 version, maybe also carrying over ronno's guitar solo too.

But don't be mistaken Dollars in Drag/In His Master's Voice is one of the best boots out there :)
This CD Boot is called Glamor i think. I am sure its on Mindwarp if you look there.

@5winston Hi Mate, sounds like a version of 'Jump they Say'. Hum the vocal line to the riff. I would appreciate your opinion. Cheers.
