The song title defines what rock n' roll is all about! This track has way better midrange than the album....yeah I said 'album' for you vinyl junkies!!!
I do wish they would play more stuff from the 80's. I love the 70's stuff, I've been a fan since '76. I just wish they would play a few more 80' songs. Saw them in July and they only played one non makeup song "Lick It Up". I miss Heaven's on Fire, Hide Your Heart, Unholy (yes I know it was in '92) and others. I'm not saying to make the entire set non makeup heavy just would like to hear more then one song from an entire era.
Wow. I'm up at 4:00 am and had this for breakfast. 1st song of the day for me today. AWESOME! Do you have a date and venue for this? Thanks for posting.
I really wish they played this song along with a few others from the 1980's on the farewell tour. Hide your heart would have been interesting if it were played on the farewell tour being that all members past and present seemed to have had a say or worked on that song whether it was with Kiss or another band they were in.
@ChaimKiss... i listened to this because you said "best version ever" and as with EVERYTHING you post is it fuckin awesome..i dont know where you find all this KISS stuff but you've never let me down once...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MAN
That's GREAT! I love the Asylum album, I think it's one of the best versions of "Uh! All Night" I've ever heard! Loved it!!! Thanks for posting it! :D

Dude, they're OLD. Paul couldn't bend those vocals to save his flabby tits, and Gene.... Well, ene doesn't give a fuck anymore. He hasn't, ever since the reunion. It's all about CASH, and they won't get it by gigging clubs, which BTW are the only places they could gather the crowd interested enough in that material. Stick to your bootlegs... :|
what do you mean paul couldnt sing those songs? he sounds exactly the same as he did in the 70's. and why do you think they are only booking clubs? i honestly dont think your a KISS fan or follower.
1) Paul doesn't sound nearly as good as he did in the 70's. Even if he did, we're talkng about 80's/90's material here, right? High-pitched vocals? Bon Jovi-esque gymnastics? For that stuff, they'd have to re-hire Bruce Kulick... Me thinks you're the one who's far from being a fan. I was one. Not anymore.
2)I didn't say they're booking clubs. I said the only way they could gather a crowd interested in that material (80's and 90's), is booking clubs. Let me add that they would be obligated to lower the pitch on those tunes for at least 1.5-2 whole steps. Kistards are funny. And thick-skulled... :-S
have you heard any of their alive 35 tour? tommy thayer puts his own sound into the songs. even the ones from the eighties. granted he is nowhere as good as bruce kulic. you should listen to the alive 35 tour and see for yourself that they can still perform those songs. maybe not the show part but musically they can. how do you figure that only enough people like the 80s material to just fill clubs?
I've seen a couple of videos here. Plus, I wholeheartedly gave RTN a chance. Nop. There is no such thing as Tommy's "own sound". Plus, he practically BUTCHERED songs like "Unholy", "War machine" and "Tears are fallin'", which leads me to think that Gene and Paul aren't into their 80's stuff (sans "Lick it up" and "Heaven's on fire", of course), 'cause thay can't belt it anymore. You are pretty young, aren't you? LOL
what does my age have to do with anything? and its obvious that you havent listened to the alive 35 tour or you would see that tommy DOES put his own spin on some of the songs.
i agree that bruce and ace were better. but tommy does a good job. he's not a bad guitarist at all. dont you think that if he was, gene and paul would find a better one?
I think the reason why they didn't bring Bruce back is because they want to continue the "original" sound of the band. Tommy Thayer although he is a great guitarist, he's a note-for-note copy of Ace Frehley, which is exactly what Paul and Gene want. I would love to see Bruce Kulick back with Kiss though.
