i feel like i am going backwards. when i was a kid. I was not so interested in science. however later in life the more religion i studied i realized that it is relevant to my meditation, livelihood, understanding my body, how to heal myself, just living. Flying, diving, space travel, etc are all possible. It is far easier to discover your astral body that can do this than to try to build wings or fins.
It seems to me that ever since quantum mechanics had told the public that we create everything with our thoughts so I figure why not just make stuff up and and believe it. My mom used to tell me when I was a kid that if you tell yourself a lie long enough it will becomes the truth. In genuine spiritual practice, the work is self-serving. But what happens is that the definition of the self is no longer 'me' but 'we'. We start to open our awareness and become one with everything, so naturally we do what is in the greatest good for everything.
But until a person 'cracks the ego open' their motives are typically 'me' self serving.

Funny, my physics professor who is a renowned physicist who works at a quantum physics research center, never ever mentioned consciousness during his lectures. Nor in the online notes. Not in the textbook either... maybe it's in the lab manual... nope.
@AspiringPotato This is not uncommon. Consciousness is clear and cannot be objectified. But we cannot deny that we are Consciousness. Most humans are not awakened to the reality that they are Consciousness and all forms and matter are made of Consciousness. Yet this knowledge and the means to acquire this knowledge have existed on this planet for thousands of years. The earliest books we have teach this knowledge.
You can say all the fancy words you want about reality, but the fact is that the rigorous study of physics that is taught in schools and universities, that is the thing that yields useful results.

Yes, memorizing concepts requires far less skill and dedication than personal development. It is easier to fill a mind with concepts than to empty it and experience the transcendent Self.

Study genuine yoga (Patanjali Yoga Sutras) or other systems that teach methods of self-cultivation and purification - asana, pranayama, concentration, meditation, etc.

Now there is of course room for it, because no one knows what consciousness is, and therefore one could easily make a claim about how it can coincide because hindu/buddhist text that describe consciousness are very abstract/indirect. They said that humans could never fly, yet we invented airplanes. They said humans can never travel to the depth of the sea - yet we invented submarines.
Flying, diving, space travel, etc are all possible. It is far easier to discover your astral body that can do this than to try to build wings or fins.

In genuine spiritual practice, the work is self-serving. But what happens is that the definition of the self is no longer 'me' but 'we'. We start to open our awareness and become one with everything, so naturally we do what is in the greatest good for everything.
But until a person 'cracks the ego open' their motives are typically 'me' self serving.

@AspiringPotato I have multiple degrees from a top 20 ranked US University. I do know the value of standardize education, but I also realize its limits. Education empowers us and supports our growth as a civilization.
After you graduate college, your view of life and the world will radically change - it happens for all college grads. High school and college are closed-off worlds within themselves. As you travel our country and even the world you will see far more of what this world is.

Perhaps it not that QM or atoms cannot explain everything, but that your pompous attitude, coupled with the fear of the prospect of professional ruin are keeping you from perusing new lines of study, outside the established dogma that is modern 'science'.

@Jeffrosplace Listen, I cannot tell you how wrong you are in a few lines. Please do read something REALLY doing with QM. You guys tend to talk about "holism" anf why it's important to think in "holistic" terms. We scientists call that complexity and we know that it's important to think in more global, non-reductionist terms. That means that atoms cannot explain memory, consciousness or even the properties of water. So: QM CANNOT explain everything. Don't talk that much and THINK a little.

Then we realize that human beings have this amazing potential to generate energies together, and that Unconditional Love is the most fulfilling experience that we can create. @victoriavives Yes, I get many comments from people slandering my work. In most cases, the commenter has not watched my video because their statements either contradict what I am actually saying in the videos or make no reference to the content of my video.
Sometimes I leave the comments up - if they will help others to see the way the ego works. However if the comments may be offensive to others (using foul language) then I remove it.
