when u are changing colors, do you cut off the remaining yarn and swe it in each time? i'm confused how you would do it otherwise to keep the edges clean? please help. thank u!!!
@calishell Yes you cut it off leaving about 2 inches and then you sew it in :).. better to do them as you go so you dont have a heap of tails to sew in at the end :)
@cookie12386 The difference is that this si the strigh version like a norml scarf... then the others are a tube, a twisted scart and then a cowl .. howe that helps you
I just love this stitch pattern! But I have a few questions. How come you count in groups of four on the foundation chain? And can you use any number of chains for this kind of stitch? Like of I want to make a blanket and I start with 142 chain stitches would this stitch still work?
@jackiexboy HI there, you need to do the chain in groups of 4 for the pattern to work out and so that you dont have any extra stitches left over.. you can use any amout of chains as long as its can be devided by 4 :)
Thank you for your tutorials, through you I have learn't to crochet and have made my first blanket, this scarf is ideal for me to make for xmas! Keep up the good work and please keep making the tutorials, I learn so much from you.
on this video @ the time 11:54, what do i do with the red string & white string that just hang there? Do I cut it off or do I some how work it back up to continue using the red color when it's time comes to use it.
I am a beginer and would wish to make this for my sister for x-mas.
This will be a perfect pattern for a scarf my sister has "ordered" for her Christmas gift this year. I'm also going to make her a hat and fingerless gloves!!! I love your tutorials! Keep them coming!!!!
