ff12 was great except for the fact that i felt detatched from the characters, i honestly didn't care if any of them died, except basche because he was one of the cooler ones, other than that, the voice acting was great but the quality sucked. sounded like everyone was talking into a tin can. except the judges, they were talking into a tin can while residing inside of a tin barrel. still haven't beat the game 100% though, love epic games!

That Ashe is a whore~ lol j/k. I never had a FAVORITE FF girl character or a FAVORITE FF character over all. I never really like the FF girls except Rikku and a bit of Yuna but I liked a lot of the male characters. However, thanks to FF12, I now have my two favorite characters EVER. Baltheir and Fran <333 They kick arse. Out of all the FF games this one is my favorite for so many reasons. A shame that it didnt get the credit it deserved cause of a lot of idiotic "fans".

different does not equal bad. the writing, directing and acting is, by far, the best that Square has EVER done. People should aknowledge it for this, instead.

at the end of the day, final fantasy xii was a massive step in the right direction for the series that they completely ignored in xiii. the writing in xii was EXCELLENT. it was very well scripted. the directing and acting were, also, great. the story was darker, more mature and more complex than previous ff games. it was political anevent driven, which was a big change for the series. i always thought it a shame that people focused on how different it was.

@fsmetal This is all true, however sadly most FF fans nowadays are FF7 whores and for them 7 will always be the best one, which is why they tried to make 13 more like 7. Plus a lot of people who played xii thought either the story sucked cuz they didn't understand it, or the gameplay sucked cuz of the licenses.. Also I'm pretty sure nomura didn't even work on the game so there weren't zippers and buckles everywhere.. 12 is the only FF I played besides 6 and it's my favorite :)
