WOW dude.... its not true that Aleksa Santic is serbian poet (even if u would like that is true). Aleksa was born in Bosnia and died in Bosnia. There is no corelations with serbia..This song is in BOSNIAN language with central Bosnia slang
@funruner12 looks to me that you don't have any idea what Bosnia is dude..Bosnian is geographical term and not a nationality, and Aleksa declared him self as Serb from Bosnia all his life. Try with more reading..

Just little correction, Aleksa Šantic is poet from Mostar, located in south Bosnia and Herzegovina, and far away from Serbia. That orginal song was dedicated to pretty Emina local Mostar girl.
:-) Nije vazno odakle sam, zve dok znadem kuda putujem...
moj dom i moje rodjeno ognjište..."
Mada, sve to nije ni bitno, uzivajte u pesmi i muzici. Svi smo mi ljudi... Pozdrav! Trazimo slicnosti,a ne razlike!

Kultur Shock rocks International Romani Art Festival TURN Cultural Association brings for the first time on the Romanian stage the band Kultur Shock at the first edition of International Romani Art Festival, which will take place in Timisoara, during the period 31st of August- 6th of September.
Mario was born in Brčko, Bosnia in 1971. Before you judge him too harshly, remember that if your grandmother killed chickens with a whip, you'd be pretty fucked up too...
From: kulturshock. com
If Brcko is in Croatia, then...
Anyway if you discuss these things you completely missed the point of this crazy band.
Gino and Mario are both from Bosnia. However, that should not matter they are creating great musinc and we should enjoy it and not argue about the politics.

It is a original text "PRED KAPIDŽIKOM" by Aleksa Šantić (Serbian poet) which used for this song, not all, just a part.
"Hašiši, hašiša ,mani me se ALEKSA..."
And my last comment is little known words , words by the Turkish influence in Serbian language.

Vec u srebren ibrik zahvatila vode,
Pa po bašci dule zaljevati ode!
S grana vjetar duhnu, pa niz pleci puste,
Rasplete joj one pletenice guste.
(Aleksa Šantić)
P.S. EXTRA STE! Voleo bih vas slušati uživo. Dođite na EXIT!

A ko ne bi pio?... Ko se jednom svrne
U tvoj sokak, pa ti vidi oči crne,
Taj se mahnit vraća domu i akrebi.
I kadija, valah, bekrija bi bio!
Da te jednom vidi, bukarom bi pio
I nikad se više avertio ne bi!...

PRED KAPIDŽIKOM
Kapidžik otvori, jer, moga mi dina,
Izvaliću direk i baglame tvrde,
Pa neka se na me svi alimi srde,
Jer za tobom, beli, umrijeh, Emina!
Il' si ljuta na me što po heftu dana
U mehani sjedim, niti drugo marim
No razbijam derte s bekrijama starim
Uz udare sitne tankih terzijana?
