  • What an amazing project! 5 stars

  • Looks well. Can anyone tell me how i can get my pc to boot straight into the game list on mame fast i only use the pc for mame

  • I just finished by cabinet and am using an HP DC7700 SFF. Looks just like your machine. What video card are you using with your monitor? I'm finding that since my machine is a small form factor, cards like Ultimarc's ArcadeVGA2 PCI-e are too big. Just curious what your using.

  • I'm using a Radeon 9250 128Mb, which was delivered with a Low Profile bracket.

All the specs and info can be found on my blog btw :)

  • @Denus01So how much did this end up costing

  • Sweet machine, i want to build my own ...so im doing some research, are You using wifi to control it over remote desktop ?

  • I have wifi on the system, but I don't really have to use Remote Desktop as the computer is accessible trough his own screen and keyboard. The resolution of 640*480 is sometimes an issue, but everything can be done on the cab without using an external system.

  • veramente fantasitico....

  • COOL

  • Nice, but too bad you killed an original dedicated cabinet :P

  • Oh well, if it was a genuine Space Invaders or a Moon Patrol cabinet, I'll say it's true.

But this was a boring, slow and ugly golf game, so I didn't care that much.

Anyway, the cabinet has been recycled with respect ;-)

  • Very clean and nice job. Congrats, i love your cab! :)

  • Anyone know where I can get video tutorial on setting up MAMEWAH?

I read the Wiki and it made sense but the changes I make have limited effects and I can't config the roms path.

  • i guess you've figured out how to set it up by now, but you should consider maximus arcade frontend. im currently using it on my custom built arcade and love it! check it out.

  • I somewhat regret buying Maximus arcade when I could have gotten Game ex instead. I still find Mamewah to be the best simply because of the ease of customization.

  • Very nice, dude... Do you play just MAME games in there or run an another emulator sistem too?

  • Well: all the known emulators are installed on this system, but this cabinet is really dedicated to run Mame.

  • Can I ask where you got your marquee printed from? I just got a die hard arcade from an auction and the marquee is junk, so I plan on making a custom one. The dimensions are 26 x 9.5. Nice cabinet by the way, all it really needs is a boot skin and a login skin

  • Check my blog: you can find the link there.

    (Section Marquee Part #1)

You can order the marquee with the dimensions you need, and the quality is awesome!

  • Wow, about how many games do you have in this mame??

  • Hi,

I have 3126 original arcade roms installed, or 6057 if you count the clones.

Let's be honest: not all the games are worth it....

  • Nice work! cool video....totally agree about the music as well!! I wonder if I am familiar with the composer of the song??? ;-)

  • I think you know the composer indeed...

  • I like the animation in this movie. The idea is really cool. The MAME logo is terrific. Actually, it's mutch beter than the original. It's really incredible to go back in time and play with those well known arcade games. Well done! (Cool music by the way!)
