I don't know if you've done it in the next videos, or someone else already tipped you on that, but the thing to do with the one-eyed plants is to bomb them - they give you a bomb (for the one you've "wasted") and something else for points. This first level was the only one I managed to get perfect score for - taking everything, bombing all the plants, getting max points for power-ups taken at max health etc.

Not quite. Apogee developed Cosmo, but they only published Keen, which was an ID Software title. Both great titles in their own right.

Keen is pretty hard to beat. And while I agree this doesn't do it, I really don't think anything does. Not even Bio Menace is better than Keen and Bio Menace is awesome.  Oh! I know one platform PC game that might beat Keen. Jill of the Jungle. :)
