But she still does the classic American Songbook music I also fell in love with. "A Kiss To Build a Dream On", for example. She hasn't quit that genre; you just have to hang in there. If she hasn't done it recently, she's exploring her own talent. She hasn't given up on the old stuff, but she has nearly exhausted the catalogs of good Karaoke backup.

I've prolly heard 200 versions of this very famous song, since I was very young. This is without question the best. YB has an incredible alto voice, and a relaxed, casual presentation which makes her 'own' the song. I wish my dad were alive to hear this. She swings, like Sinatra at his finest. He'd agree with me that this is the best voice of a generation--maybe the best of all time.
