good thing i decided to plug my computer into my receiver and tower speakers. it's even better though because i just came from listening to the suite, and as it goes on i always find myself turning the volume up more and more. did i pick the right video to click on or what? just glad i didn't have my subwoofer turned on.
You've got a huge earth loop in your recording cables. That's where de 50hz hum is coming from. Just delete the video is useless this way, nobody is going to listen to this comfortably.
Very sad! Buzzing is spoiling as everyone is saying, but I do not think it is not worth to upload on Youtube like SOME people say! :)(MY OPINION NOT YOURS OR ANYONE ELSES!)
Actually, this is the proper tempo for dancing. A true classical dancer does adagio at this tempo, because it means a slow walk, not funereal. If you see Margot Fonteyn and Michael Somes do it with the Royal Ballet in the 1950s video, you'll see what I mean. A true dancer follows the music's tempo.
can i point out, the first thing i was taught as a 4 year old beginning ballet, was that the dancer follows the orchestra- as miss lisa put it- you cant stop dancing, and turn to the orchestra to say slow down a bit

The middle of the video has the piece that Jill Clayburgh danced to in "An Unmarried Woman", for those that know of her and of the film. :):)

The main point here, historically, is Mr' Brey's use of portamento.

This is very good, but the buzzing is very poor quality audio for the video...quite distracting!

Very well played but this version couldn't be danced, it is to fast for ballet. But as it is a concert there is no problem.

well... nureyev did so several times... But conductors ignored him more often than not. LOL
