Yeah. I'm surprised that you didn't know then that you don't need to tap the green buttons. It's all hammer ons and pull offs. They work on guitar hero with tap and slider notes. The other thing that makes it work is you can hit any single note (not chords) with all the buttons behind it (closer to green) pressed down, or any combination of them. For example, you can't hold YB for a Y note, but you can hold GY or RY or GRY on a Y note.
