Nice and smooth. Was this a Lester Friends? Are you going to make a correct rivet count firebox cover sheet?

Thanks, It started out as a Friends kit, but I replaced most of the castings with fabrications.. I think of the 50 or so castings I had, I'm only using about 15 of them..

Yes, I will do a firebox wrapper, with all the rivets..

Fantastic loco,and what a superb workshop,I'd love a workshop like that in a basement,especially with a Bridgport and a decent lathe,maybe oneday.............

Hello, The rivets are "embossed" from the back side, and are cosmetic only....
