From creation, the poor souls risk their lives for us, even though their snowballs usually are harmless. They won't stop until the enemy is dead. No matter how many of them we hurt, they fight with us till the end. Every time I kill one to make room for something, a part of me dies with it. I wish I could apologize...

I set up a nice pathway outside my house (which is inside a mountain). It's 3 blocks wide, with a 3 block gap on each side. The gap has lava at the bottom. There are snow golems on the other side of the gap being contained by fences. They sit on piston-controlled blocks, so they can be retracted with the pull of a switch. There are also maintenance halls for repairing them. Anytime a hostile comes in, they get pelted into the river of melted stone. Hell yeah.

I just thought of a cool redstone creation. An auto replenishing sentry using pistons. A fence with a stone pressure plate in the middle and a vertical tunnel that opens and drops a snowman when the current one dies.
