That's not drifting, that's powersliding. Drifting is an act where the REAR wheels slip and lose traction while the front wheels are counter steered into the direction of the slide or the corner exit.
I love this video. My a6 has some terrible understeer(but I guess that's what you get when you have german engineering)

Its possible to drift a 4WD with enough power.
4WD drifting is the best!!! Look at the rally drifting (okay I know theres little traction)
