Nice movie! How do you decide between hdfh and hdfx mode (or hdlp or hdhq for that matter)? I just got a Sony HDR cx550v and have iMovie 08 but might need 09 or might wait for 11' when it comes. My goal is to get videos to YouTube at 1080p. Thanks much.

hey skyhawk, u mentioned u used iMovie 09, did you install any software, do any special process to get AVCHD footy running? I have a macbook pro and am getting the 500v, looking for advice. Thanks! Nice vid!
