Their present culture held hostage by the 18 - 30 generation, it realizes that their parents made sacrifices to get them to where they are now. In the anglosaxon culture, respect is shown by adding polite words in your sentence. In french, the "you" for your friends is not the same as for your grand parents. In Korean the verb-endings change.
