What kind of jazz musicians were an influence to atheist? I haven't heard much jazz that is as good as this, Maybe someone can recommend something along the same lines? I guess i just don't like the Sax and therein lies the appeal to samba briza

If you like the samba/latin genre, you can check out some stuff from Dave Weckl, one of my favorite drummer of all time. His band and him are in that kind of music. You can check out some bossa nova, you mike like it!

I'm not into this kind of jazz much so i'm not the best reference, hope that'll help anyway!

Hey! =). You can search on google for ¨Samba briza tab¨ and you will find a powertab file. You'll have to download the powertab program (which is free). I think the tab is pretty accurate even if I didn't use it. To obtain a great sound without any feedback, you can use a scarf on the 1st fret of your bass (just like I do in this video) to mute the strings! If you still have difficulty to play the song, just message me and I'll see what I can do for you =)
