  • Great playing and I love the guitar tone. The tailpiece looks like an ibanez.

  • you are realllllly good, makes me love this song even more!

  • ..."though not as impressively." Impressive enough for these 66 year old ears. And I've been fiddling around the fret board for about 56 of those years. Jolly good show! :D)

  • I love it when someone takes a constructive 'word' graciously as you did below. This is very nice. I tried to learn it so I could accompany myself vocally but this song is a challenge to play but nevertheless....a classic beauty. Good job.

  • You can get this arrangement in "Jazz Guitar Standards, chord Melody Solos",by Mel Bay Publications, along with other songs and included cd's.

  • I very much agree with cloraxion here! I'd really love it if you redid it, because the chords are absolutely amazing!

  • seems different from the version im learning...

  • do u have the tabs for this song??

  • Now, that's a beautiful sound. The wonderful thing about the guitar is the ability to put so much melody and harmony in one spot. Magic.

  • i think it is a very good job, on a great arrangement!! is it your arrangement, or is it available for me to get my hands on it.

  • Good Job - I remember learning that tune long ago and I also remember the hours I put in to learn it. I lost my ring finger on a saw which ended my jazz chord melody playing. Now I play the blues - keep up the great fingerstyle playing. I can tell you have the feeling which will only get better as you get older. Take care - Tom

  • ouch

  • omg that's sad...um...try the opal midi you need a few fingers for that and you can play amazing chord melody with that. 2:52 shows what I mean :D

  • I'd love to hear what that would sound like today

  • beautiful sound! fingerstyle is the way to be!

  • You're getting an amazingly sweet sound out of that guitar and the chords are great. My only suggestion (and it is just a suggestion) is that you play it a little more fluidly as if you were singing through the guitar. Right now, the chords sound too individual. But that's a minor thing compared to everything that works here. Good job.

  • you are right, I attempted this tune too early, and i didn't give myself enough time to work through the changes. see my video of "once i loved" for a more fluid example of chord melody. Thank you for you very constructive critique, much appreciated

  • Absolutely wonderful performance. I think this is incredible

  • Just beautiful!!!

  • Geez. Sweet sounds man. I always wished I could conquer the ax, but I guess piano will have to do. :D Cool, ma frend.

  • love this tune, nicely played
