..."though not as impressively." Impressive enough for these 66 year old ears. And I've been fiddling around the fret board for about 56 of those years. Jolly good show! :D)
I love it when someone takes a constructive 'word' graciously as you did below. This is very nice. I tried to learn it so I could accompany myself vocally but this song is a challenge to play but nevertheless....a classic beauty. Good job.
Good Job - I remember learning that tune long ago and I also remember the hours I put in to learn it. I lost my ring finger on a saw which ended my jazz chord melody playing. Now I play the blues - keep up the great fingerstyle playing. I can tell you have the feeling which will only get better as you get older. Take care - Tom
You're getting an amazingly sweet sound out of that guitar and the chords are great. My only suggestion (and it is just a suggestion) is that you play it a little more fluidly as if you were singing through the guitar. Right now, the chords sound too individual. But that's a minor thing compared to everything that works here. Good job.
you are right, I attempted this tune too early, and i didn't give myself enough time to work through the changes. see my video of "once i loved" for a more fluid example of chord melody. Thank you for you very constructive critique, much appreciated
Great playing and I love the guitar tone. The tailpiece looks like an ibanez.

I very much agree with cloraxion here! I'd really love it if you redid it, because the chords are absolutely amazing!

Now, that's a beautiful sound. The wonderful thing about the guitar is the ability to put so much melody and harmony in one spot. Magic.
