the only way to upgrade the unit is threw a custom ROM. there are a dedicated developers who will bring android 2.2 (aka Froyo) to the unit

The OK and the big button around it bugs me, it looks dated. I have a choice between this phone or the Samsung Omnia 2 and O2 is gorgeous compared to this. But I'll be getting the Galaxy for Android Apps:)

In Canada Bell is the carrier - do not waste your money you cannot even watch this video on it because the YouTube app has move beyond the 1.5. os. Wait until the 2.1 os is offered on another phone. I purchased this phone big mistake. You cannot download Google Earth because 1.5 does not support it. The list goes on.

My point is that not every one needs a super phone with a 4" AMOLED screen, 1gz processor, etc. All of a sudden a 3.5" or 3.7" screen isn't big enough. Why? Because someone else has a 4" screen and more features.
