great video. this is so sad because it looks this way all over the place. i saw a few towns in olklahoma go straight to hell. nothing left. and only a few years ago thrived. people leaving cause they cant afford the gas to drive to work in the bigger cities. now bigger cities are getting bigger. i'd also say walmart had a hell of alot to do with it.
A great tribute! I live in a small town with only 7 businesses... they built a smaller bank in town to move the exhisting one that takes up 1/2 a block- instead of doing something with the building or bringing a business in... they are going to make it into a park with a gazebo... heaven forbid we try to grow the town... let's turn it into a ghost town loke others out there... very sad and upsetting!
Yes its very sad. Government could care less, and in your town, instead of your city government costing you the tax payer the cost of tearing down the building and making a park out of it, why don't they offer a tax credit for any business to come in and hire 50 or more employees? If nothing else, they could at least contact bigger towns in your area with libraries for book donations and start a library. I am quite sure they could even get a grant for that.
