solomanspaming- you are obviously mistaken. the church is true and joseph smith did not use "magic" to translate the scriptures, he used the urimum thumum, and the priesthood power, wich is not magic, but a magnificent thing.

They are described as "seer stones" to be used in communion with God. So, isn't it just a tad possible that if Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God, that he might have been able to use them with God's help to translate languages he had never seen or studied prior to obtaining the ancient records? Food for thought no? :D

It's not an argument it's a provable fact that joseph smith was arrested in 1826 for scamming people by telling them if they paid him, he could look at 'magic seer stones' (witchcraft) IN HIS HAT and seek out hidden treasure.
