  • AMAZING, & VERY WELL DONE .. high fives to the choreographer of this dance .. well done.. when you put all that hard work, and strive to be the best ..it shows on the stage all the hard work you put into this FANTASTIC FUN DANCE ROUTINE! , btw, I love the costumes too ... keep up the hard work!

  • oooo!! <33

  • LOVE IT

  • love the dance and the costumes!

  • Aggressive.

  • Love the dance, but why did they have to speed up the song?

  • awesome speed, coordination, technique and wonderful display of energy and variety of steps with some oustanding acrobatic steps keep it up

  • great there are parts if you look closely where one of the girls is off count but great dance :-D

  • kay listen here watercoloursgrey. you can think what you want, but that was an AMAZING dance! yeah DANCE!!!!!!

  • Sorry, due to the 500 character count I can only say so much, and it came across wrong. The point of this and some of my other comments on DSD's videos is that they train their dancers *so* well that I think they're capable of a lot more than the choreography given. It's just that not only is the choreography of this one dance very competition style, but that all of the dances I've seen seem to be almost the same. However, DSD does this style of choreography way better than the other schools.

  • Go watch Pulse

  • You sound like a total JERK. How bout get off your high horse and just recognize hard work and talent instead of being an asshole about it. No wonder people don't like you and talk about what a blow hard you are behind your back. They laugh at you and you know it.

  • It is far better than some of the crap at competitions. Why make comments like this about the dancers when they are clearly not the ones choreographing the routines? They have good technique and the girls at this school have far more partnering experience than most studios.

  • So the choreo is predictable. So are hundreds of other competition dancers. The dancers are great, and I don't see anything on your account that makes me think you are a good judge of talent. Go back to school and maybe you'll learn some manners.

  • This isn't a dance; this is a cheerleading routine.

  • these dances are amazing and the their technique is out of this world.. but it just feels like theres something missing as in the content in their dancess is so similar that im waiting for something else.. dont get me wrong it is amazing no doubt.. but we already know you can jump and tumble and turn

  • i agree with you 100%!

  • the only thing I hate about DSD is that no matter what dance they do, they throw a million tricks and lifts in there. I mean, honestly, we get that you can do back tucks and layouts and lifts, lets see some more technique.

  • I wish you could see some of the other numbers out there that don't make it to the finals. Jill and Katey have done some amazing work this year.

DSD is not the only studio that has a style, there are acro studios or ones that specialize in partnering dances. Watching Showstopper nats there many dances where there were only lifts and an interesting theme. Do they get all the complaints and criticism? No, not like DSD. This is one type of dance that they do but NOT all they do.

  • i know what you mean, some other studios definitely don't get "this" kind of criticism. but I would definitely love to see more from this studio. I just feel that their finals dances are "predictable" because you know there'll be those lifts and that guy who does the back tucks across the stage, you know?

  • I get that, but they can't control what makes it into the finals. The senior dance (large/super) that makes the final is generally the Rep Co open dance. This dance is almost a tradition at this point. When I was there it had most of the graduating seniors are in it, it was the one as a company we put the most focus because it was us as a whole. Yes, there were company tap and lyrical groups, but there was something special about that dance. Cont b/c I have too much to say

  • It was 30+ kids doing what they love. The energy in that room while on stage was always magic. I feel that it's more symbolic at this point of the studio and the team. 30 people coming together, feeding of each other's passion and energy, moving in unison, and having the time of their lives. I doubt it will ever go away. I'm getting a bit nostalgic, it's been 4 years since I graduated.

  • i get were you comeing from but are you loking at this vidio they all have fantastic technique and i personaly think that the lifts and trricks make this dance a million times more interesting!

  • i would agree but just recently i on a couple of different videos that category is called Acro. It stand for i think anything dance with a lo of tricks and style but that is just a guess

  • Who sings this song?

  • Ricky Martin

  • wow you guys are amazing.

  • omg i miss this dance sooooo much!!!!

i will always love this dance

  • love the costumes!

  • If u think that's good, watch its raining men by them.

  • very clean, nice use of space as well. great job DSD!

  • They're from Deborah's Stage Door... It's in Michigan

  • WOW!!! That was probably the cleanest yet still challenging dance I've ever seen! Amazing, and its so cool to see guys dancing with them too!!! I loved it! Keep going guys... you're awesome!

  • that was amazing

    theyre so together :)

  • awesome is this the same company that did raining men and

    boy meets girl?!!!!!!!!!!

  • Agreed! That is an outstanding amount of hardcore dancers! They are sharp!

  • I know right lol i was just thinking that same thing!

  • think ther best dance was its raining men

  • ABSOLUTLEY AHMAZINGG!

  • The tumbling wasn't as sharp as other groups, but their sync was incredible! Good job guys!

  • this is amazing..

  • This is good for competition type stuff; I like it. But the costumes are HIDEOUS!!

  • That dance is amazing it must take so much practice to get that perfect very good job =]

    As per usual

  • It's not the stuff that they are doing, it's how in sync they are, especially having so many people, and how clean and well thought out everything is.

  • I forgot how good this dance was! Wow, I love us!

  • search "deborahs stage door" and watch all their dances... they are ALL sped up like this. almost to the point that you can't understand the song. the music is annoying but the dancing is great.

  • i love watcing this dance!

    :)

    opn16

    good job!

  • the last minute was when my adrenalin shot up! super!

  • AMAZING !!!!!

  • too late.

  • DEFNITELY reminds me of a competitive floor dance for like pom or something. these kids are CRAZZZZZYYY good and very entertaining! if i could congradulate them all i would.. but.. i'd have to say good job in a comment.. a lot =] so.. ill just say it once, GOOD JOB!!

  • this is really good

  • oh okay, you had me worried for a sec there, glad to know it was a mistake!

  • I wasn't dissing the studio at all, I'm sorry if it came off that way. In fact, I was trying to defend the "every dance is the same" comment. I've seen other people say the same thing: DSD's numbers may look the same but that's because year after year those just happen to be the ones picked to go through to finals, the number that gets the audience on their feet and excited. It's not their fault. DSD dancers are very well-trained and talented and I happen to be a fan of the studio's dances.

  • the most amazing dance ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This dance is AWESOME!!!! There perfect and together and... AWESOME JOB!!!!!!!!

  • That one dudes right they do look the same. Cuz they are all freakin' AMAZING!!!

  • greatttt job! cute costume!

timing amazing! and the guys are insane!!!!!

    love the partner section!

  • all of there dances look the frggin same. Make em differnt

  • how many dsd dances have you seen?

  • how many dsd dances have you seen?

  • All of their big dances are of the same variety, they're used to get the audience going. It's not like it's the same exact choreo each year, just same style. I see that in other studios too, it's just what happens to go through to finals. Watch Hiding Under Water, Breakin' Dishes, or Body Language and you'll see a different.

  • i couldn't have said that better myself, iceklutz! just because everyone sees one dance online, doesn't mean the other 300 a year don't count!

  • wow you guys are AMAZING!!!

i love all your dances they are great!!!

  • yeaaah. =P

  • so you guys had a dance called Four this year....

    thats kind of jokes

  • the dance is not similar to 5ive at all. Its not even the same concept.

"Wear ideal shoes get love from the dudes

4 bad ass chicks from the Moulin Rouge"

The 4 bad ass chicks... the four...

  • wow sooo i wish i lived in michigan so i could get training from this place. you guys are awesome! props alllll around!! :]

  • I LOVE EVERYTHIGN ABOUT THIS. the costumes.. the tumbling.. the choreography.. the eXPressions.. CONGRATS!

  • thank you !

  • i LOVE it!

  • i am so fat in this video!

  • Shut up skinny duo partner! No ur not!

  • 2nd. but they should of placed first. 1st is this dance called 5ive.

  • 5ive was really good too though, it was very different and creative. I personally though both dances were extremely deserving of the first place honor. =]

  • yeahh but i think 5ive was kinda choppy and didnt have very good technique. not to mention a bit of sensuality.

  • i love this team its just everytime they do a large group jazz they all look the same to me. just to a different song.

  • GO REP CO! i love this dance its so sweet!

  • yay Reppie pals! I love this dance! lets go FIERCE !! haha im stpid sorry..

but im pumped for nationals YALL

  • hahaha ur funny sara

and i love this dance too

  • i love the 2:48 through 3:00

    awesome dance!

  • hahaha. well i dont see suzettes talked about daily so when you get your head out of your butt we can talk.

  • its kinda weird how they have tons of songs tht suzttes uses...livin la vida loca, its raining men, hot stuff

  • but those are songs everyone uses. suzette's does not own the songs. dsd has been using those songs for years.

  • i love it how people from suzettes, etc will take time out of their own life to look up deborahs stage door on youtube, then just complain. real classy.

  • well if you "clearly know that suzettes is better" then why would you even waste your time CLICKING on a deborahs video, much less comment on one.

  • ew! its a dang song! who are you????

  • suzettes isnt the only one who uses those songs...let me guess you are from suzettes

  • this was probably the most immature comment i've seen on youtube. that was really unnecessary and unfortunately it makes you seem ignorant...i know smd girls, and i love them, but DSD is a powerhouse too.

  • i am loving the colors!

  • oh yes i like this one

  • Their turns a la seconde with the hop/leap/sautee thing made me drool!

  • those costumes are hot! does anyone know where they order from?

  • im pretty sure there costumes are custom made. but i totally agree their costumes are amazing

  • yea they are and thanks :)

  • i dance at DSD and r costumes r custum made

  • we didnt order them they were made by our costume department

  • we don't order them we have a costume place in our studio and they make them

  • go DSD!!!!!!!

  • 3:12 is amazing

  • wow......

  • The group continues to amaze me, but no offense... Your numbers every year still somewhat look the same.

  • I love this number so much, I still get excited watching it.

  • Wow! I'm a choreographer and teacher and I would love to be able to train my students to this level. That was really an unstanding piece. I would have personally done a different song choice but regardless that was truly outstanding!

  • amazing!

  • AMAZING!!! i danced for 7 years and i feel like ive been robbed of my true talent! u guys have fantastic technique and i wish i could have danced at a school as great as yours!!!

  • without a doubt you guys are talented, but there's not really any real dancing, just tricks.

  • honestly i dont see why everyone thinks all dsd dances are "exactly the same." i mean sure there are some similarities but there are definately differences as well. dsd just has certain elements to their dances, i guess you could say, as does basically every studio. i think that people judge them unfairly and that no one can deny their massive talent.

  • The converstation on the parts reminds me of an article in dance spirt. Debbies daughter was interviewed and she was like "when i got a part in a dance the parents would be like ,'its only because shes debbies daugther'" And it kept going on talkin about her not gettting treated fairly cause Debbie was her mom. Does she still dance at all?

  • Yeah, she was in this dance.

  • she has 38 numbers this year

  • that is an awesome dance. DSD. u guys r so good.

    keep it up :).

  • I love all of the production type of dances. We used to do them at my studio, and we would always win. The big group numbers tend to be the highlight of the whole competition. especially when they are as upbeat as this. Great Job!!!!!!!!

  • There is nothing wrong with having a few older kids in the group. When I was dancing in competitions at showstopper, starlight and showbiz, everyone did it as long as the average age was 12 and under you were a jr and 13 and over you were a sr.

  • the oldest ones in the junior dances are 14. that's only about 2 years older than the cutoff age. that is in no way cheating if the average age still works out to be under 12. as for the teen group there are a couple older kids, but the majority are around 12-15. together it averaged out to the correct 13-14 age range for teen. that is in no way CHEATING.

  • once again, this is only one of about 200 dances. yes the open dances look similar from year to year, but there are some amazing dances that no one seems to pay attention to or realize are DSD.

  • og boy.. i remember this at nationals... because DSD was waving american flags... and CDC was waving canadian flags.. and coth studios went completely crazy everytime there studio was called...

  • this studio is amazing. every dance they do blows me away.

  • I loved this number our school was at the same nationals and these guys were amazing! We loved the number it was soooooo GOOD!!!

  • the number of dancers in some of the smaller parts have changed, but other than that the only change i saw was the change in the pyramid with the turn and the jump. debbie always is changing the amount of people in parts.

i really loved that pyramid section. seeing it power down the stage was really effective.

  • unfortunately your wrong we didnt change a single thing except a jump in the pyramid! great try...

  • haha, thanks huey. ur right

  • COOL

  • flawless...you guys got robbed...

  • PERFECTION!
