@craiggy13x Yup. Rule of thumb: all lenses will fit your camera. It's when you go up to full frame that you need to be careful of vignetting and what have you.

This is the best lens I've ever owned. The bokeh is AMAZING, the speed is AMAZING, the colors are AMAZING, and the clarity is AMAZING.

bigger zoom lenses are white for a reason. they are painted white so they dont attract alot of heat while being staitioned on a tripod for long periods of time...

Just an FYI All EF USM lenses can be manually focused on the fly without switching the lens.

Epic FAIL on why the focus distance switch is on board. It's to decrease hunting time,and increase battery life by limiting the travel of the assembly. You can change your focus points in camera.

wich kind of review is this? this is just an instruction manual wich explain what you have just purchased, a review is something different.

i don't see mtf test, focus and sharpening test at various apertures, comparisons with other lenses (nikkor vr 70 200 far best, or old canon 70 200 NOT is, far better..) and go on.

oh.. another thing: you call it VERY HEAVY!!

try a canon 400 f/2.8 and see what's very heavy.

in a football field 70 200 is almnost the equivalent of a wide angle.. they use 400-500-600 and even more sometimes..
