GOD--did you see how much the rev's dropped when he went into 5th gear? Helluva low (numerically) top gear, of course with a five-spd and that much power, you gotta have long gearing if you want top end. I remember my 'vette was in 6th at 80 mph and turning about 2K rpm. And THAT overdrive gear in the 6 spd was .67, i think.

That turbo and header setup actually would get full boost by 6,500 or so rpm, and it would pull really good to around 10,000 rpm. the reason you think it spools later is I wasn't on the gas fully in the fist 2 gears.

@ALL of the IDIOTS! You think AMS is the fastest? They only held the claim for two weeks. Simply because Mike was at Texas with a friend and his EVO that is over the 200 mph mark now too. Remember also, AMS put a window in their engine at the end of his 228mph run. I've got pics if u must see. And your math is off a bit dip wads. Official speed trap are two seperate points at the end of the track. Distance/time it takes to travel between said points= speed. Put GPS in and shut these idiots up.

Find me the video or web site where this infamous 267 mph speed has been performed. Also was it at a land speed event? The horsepower is from a Dyno Jet which measures all wheel horsepower not engine horsepower, this EVO also set the record on Buschur Racing's Mustang dyno with 998 awhp.

To bad your looking at a 2 year old video. Go to my video channel and look at the 237mph pass. He's still the record holder. He ironed out a lot of small details with the help of Douglas Autoworks and went 16 mph faster than this video and 9 mph faster than AMS. AMS has the EVO 7-9 record, Reichen and Douglas Autoworks has the Overall EVO record as well as the 2.0 4g63 awhp record with 1127 awhp! The scary thing is there's another 10 psi of boost left on the table.

How are you equating how fast the car is from the video? Are you using landmarks to measure distance? Are you using time vs. total distance? Any of these will NOT give you an accurate measurement. If your still not a believer go to my you tube channel FlyinEvo2 and pull up the 237 mph pass with the actual print out. Thats with 10 more psi of boost and a slightly more aggresive tune.

I have a 98 Supra Twin Turbo 6 Speed Titan motorsports 3.4L Stroker Kit, Custom Turbos that still take advantage of the sequential TT System, their not rebuilt stock turbo's, their Dual Ball Bearing Built to work with custom manifold. Their is a Sunoco 5 miles from my house that sells 100 octane. With their pump Gas and the mods I haven't mentioned it makes 602.3RWHP and 591lb-ft torque no n20,car in video too much lag, I've spent so much extra money so I could make 300lb-ft by 3300RPM, 7000RL
