notice that most of the scenes are in jungles. the Philippine military's specialty is jungle warfare cause its where they've been fighting off japs in WW2 and extremists private armies. So their training I think is concentrated on jungle tactics and fighting in wet grassy and muddy uneven terrain. So I can say that fighting them in a jungle would be a bitch especially for those trained in desert terrain. lol

Iraq is now handed over to the Iraqi government. That's done. Afghanistan is being worked on but when you have a back stabbing Pakistani government, it's harder. Your country is smaller.
Your military has the Navy and an Air Force...something the rebels don't have so your government has the overwhelmingly advantage. Why doesn't the Navy create a blockade around an island, send the army in to remove the rebels and take that is one victory. Why can't that happen?
