The bible speaks of the difference between perception of time from man to god. in quantum mechanics past a certain sub atomic point there is a break down in the general laws of physics. Time and space specifically. so could it be possible that the story of genesis is a simplified version of what happened so that man could understand it.

Intelligent design is absolutely backed by fact. Thermodynamics is a bad example... A better one would be the Golden Rectangle and the Golden Ratio. Anything perceived as aesthetically pleasing is based on these irrational principles.
